There is always curreny and i personally think in the bitcoin market there is no such thing as friendship. Everyone for him or herself,

Then we'll sink the whole ecosystem through infighting; a prospect that should be clearly apparent already, given the steady drop since early 2014. Most major altcoin devs work on Bitcoin's code as well, because we have to share work if we're to compete effectively against the much bigger existing currencies and payment systems, which are already adopting the best parts of blockchain technology for themselves.

Were altcoins made to eventually destroy bitcoin and replace its place the the #1 cryptocurrency in the world?

Not a bad summary of the altcoin scene in general. I like it. Personally, I see altcoins as being a testing ground for new ideas that would be too risky or otherwise inappropriate for Bitcoin to adopt.

Also that article could probably use a spell check and the grammar could be polished up in places. Here are the first two paragraphs:

Quote
If you are into cryptocurreny, for sure you know about altcoins as much as you know about Bitcoin. Altcoin is a term to separate the bitcoin to other cryptocurrency. Onlookers have always consider altcoin as a cheap knock off of Bitcoin. Other people also said that altcoin will not be herre long, therefore it is just a waste of time dealing with it.

Now, because the technology being used by bitcoin is an open source, the source code it utilized is free for everyone to use and make their own altcoin. Presently, there are over 500 altcoin in the crypto atmosphere and some of them just doesent make sence. However, we should not forget that altcoin has been here a long time ago and it was only neglected after bitcoin's popularity skyrocketed.

And here's my (roughly) edited version:
