Appreciate your patience, i got a bit distracted yesterday once the SO came home as it was our 1 year aniversary since getting engaged. Breaking bad tonight, then after that I shall resume my reviews.

Congratulations, have fun  Smiley

hi mem, while I have not played much on any of the poker sites (I've signed up for most of them), GridPoker looks interesting. It's almost like one of the commercial big players just shifted to accepting bitcoin for deposits.

Unfortunately, none of the poker sites are any closer to being provably fair. I have an example already, all they have to do is copy it. If they won't, I'll go put up my own. (If I can.)

Regarding just-dice, kindly let me know if anyone else has made more than 1.4 million rolls on it. I stopped playing since about 4 or 5 weeks ago, but I've got my martingale strategy sort of working (until you go bust, that is.)

The short of it is, I took 0.4 and turned it into 2.0, then I took 6.0 and turned it into 11.0. Both sequences busted out (after a million rolls). There is a good chance I win the very next roll, so I'm waiting for "investors". hehehehe.

Yes unfortunately with poker you do have to place a lot of trust in the casino operators and hope that players are not colluding.

Hey there Cheesy

You'd have fun martingaling our roulette game if you're in the mood for roulette. Return to player is at 99.5% and we have the standard martingale strategy as an autoplay option. Are you doing standard or your own version?

99.5% may make you a tie for the lowest house edge, I believe crackdice is also 99.5%. Thanks for the tip.

Hi mem, a fun site to play on is just-dice.com. The only disadvantage is the ugly design :-)

Im going to have a quick break, revisit the above site with its provably fair and then look for a good freeroll or two on some of the new poker sites.

If you prefer actual code, you can check https://bitbucket.org/knowitnothing/ggdice_client/src/4416a8fcd74fd0523b107b6f858e628aeb4187db/fair_check.py?at=master

Here is the roll function which outputs the rolled number for a given secret seed, user seed and nonce (taken from the above link):

Code:
def roll(secret, nonce, user_seed):
    """Perform a roll exactly as it is done at ggdice.com"""
    digest = sha3("%s:%d:%s" % (secret, nonce, user_seed)).hexdigest()
    result = int(digest, 16) % 1000000
    return result

well I ended up martingaling on just-dice, I tried satoshidice but it seems they no longer do 0 confirmation bets so most of the fun is gone.

I Came out with a profit of 0.15534385 BTC on just-dice, quite happy about that. Its the first time Ive given it a good run instead of just a quick test, I have to say I am really impressed with the site. Its super responsive and the keybindings tap straight into the core of a gamblers heart, its for that reason Ive decided to stop Wink
Its nice to see a good chat window as well, though the signal to noise ratio is about on par with btc-e Wink

on a side note, Im loving all the sockpuppet avatars guys - keep it up Smiley

Hi mem,

Would you like to visit https://ggdice.com ? Edge is at 0.8% for the BTC room. Run your martingale (with very small amounts) instantly and enjoy Smiley

my first comment (and I have just woken up after a "pretty good night") is how do I verify.
I can see the seeds, nonce etc but not the formula used to generate the result.

The dialog that you open to see the seeds contains a button at top right, which explains how you verify. The top left button closes the dialog, the top right button shows that information. I guess it is better to let you read it, but if you need any help just ask.

Thanks for the visit.

How has everyone been ?

About to start catching up on all the new casino's etc.
Also Im in a bit of a martingaling mood, what casino has the lowest house edge atm for one shot bets ?

Also, Ive noticed we have several new poker sites - even had 1 admin email me regarding his. I am a big seals fan but i would welcome something with a nicer UI so if anyone has some reccomendations on which one I should check out first let me know, else Im going to have a nice day of grinding some free roll tourneys and PLO8.

Also watched a fairly funny action-horror-sci fi: Iron Sky http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2130142/ last night.

I see the epic backlog of pm's as well, dont worry I'll be getting to that shortly.

mem is back !
