I am very happy to see this posts and I too believe that bitcoin and other crypto currencies could never go away and the same is said by CFTC’s commissioners Rostin Benham, it is very wise person if if he said something like this then he must have something good in his king about crypto currencies. Bitcoin is supposed to be very sustainable crypto currency and and moreover millions of people have trust on bitcoin because bitcoin has helped them in overcoming their poverty .

It's great to see someone understand the potential of blockchain and crypto currencies, this is a great news to boost crypto fame, make people more understand about crypto and people could benefit from this technology, crypto offered new technology that could change the people doing transaction in the future, and with more people having the same mindset, it will be easier for crypto to grow

If that isn't positive news, I don't know what is.
It's pretty big that someone from the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission believes in the success of cryptocurrencies.

He didn't mention any specific cryptocurrencies and is just using the word blockchain.
Seems like a bit of a cop-out to me.

I agree that it is good news, but again nothing is certain in this world. I also noticed in past years that many are speaking about blockchain, not crypto, but it is logical because some people don't want to favour some particular coin. They like blockchain, and idea of crypto but are waiting to see how will this look like in 5 or 10 years from now.

What wonderful news! CFTC is a very important organization which regulates market of derivatives assets and if one of CFTC person assert publically that the crypto industry is important for the future that it acknowledges that crypto technologies have the tremendous future. We have an opportunity to be a part of this future and, of course, we able to earn.

A good news to the crypto world, this indicate that crypto currency digital transaction is slowly embracing by the public and the government financial institution. Yes, it really a confirmation that the issue on Bitcoins or all the ALT coin posted on the market is little by little accepted by the growing public, with this report, i see the massive movement in the market in the next days , months, even the year to come, the future of crypto currency is clear and will not go away.

Thank you for this news, this is a sort of confirmation that legitimate cryptocurrency is on the right track. Many people is doubting it now but one day all people will be using it for their needs. Bitcoin/cryptocurrency through the blockchain technology is the evolution of the internet and I'm sure it will continue to evolve over time to be better and safer for the people to use. Good luck crypto. Smiley

It's more than positive, I think it's bullish news, specially coming from the CFTC. This is probably the news that some financial institutions were expecting before jumping into the cryptocurrency bandwagon, and since the CFTC is looking at the cryptos in a positive light, then it's a matter of time before we see a massive influx of new money coming into the cryptosphere. We'll most likely see the real impact of this news in the long-term, but for now, it's nothing but bullish news to me.

This is a further confirmation of our conviction bitcoin is here to stay but at the same time not enough reasons for people who felt bitcoin would soon collapse when they could have entered the market years ago when they learnt about it but their pride won't still let them. Statements like this are needed to be publicised so as to boost confidence in the market that inspire the disadvantages and illegalities that are here, there is also huge amount of potentials in the technology.

It is very obvious that cryptocurrency is not going away anytime soon considering the way the world is revolving towards the digital market. Every day different coins are being injected into the cryptomarket and this also makes transaction easy, safe and secure. The security aspect and that you can handle transactions on your own without a middle man is what actually cause the rush towards cryptocurrency.

This will be a positive impact on the development of cryptocurrency. Cryptocurrency will always proliferate because of the function that will be perceived by each user. The virtual currency is not always synonymous with cryptocurrency, but more than that every country will definitely have a virtual currency as we already know that is a credit card. However, cryptocurrency will have a more general function than a credit card. I strongly agree when he says 'technological revolution' because sooner or later everyone will stead from cryptocurrency.

Yes surely. The crypto currencies are actually technological advancements which will bring revolutionary change in the future. We have to yet explore the many major applications of crypto currencies with the real world. As we are lacking the internal bridge between virtual world and real world then that is for a reason, a reason that is complex for now but will be resolved for sure. These are slow processes and will take time to develop fully. So surely crypto currencies wont be going anywhere.

That is a great news that would calm the hearts of most users and investors because there are lots of doubtful people about it these days. There are people who aren't confident about bitcoin which is actually a negative attitude in holding. We should just be hopeful about the capability of bitcoin.

This news sounds good for pro-crypto like us. I'm glad because there are still believing, supporting and able to appreciate the potentials of crypto despite of the odds Smiley. I hope his words will do come true especially this one, "But virtual currencies may – will – become part of the economic practices of any country, anywhere."

I'm not contradicting that statement of Mr. Benham (that's good actually) but does it like sounds overconfident? What do you think? For me, he talks like he is so sure about crypto's future and choose to set aside the oppositions. Anyway, maybe I'm just overthinking or whatsoever; I'm on his side nevertheless.

Bitcoin will follow the same trend as other decentralized technologies. It will be introduced and it will flourish like torrent sites and governments will be unable to take it down. The industry was disrupted and they were forced to adapt and all of these changes were beneficial to the users of these technologies.

We are already seeing a lot of industries that stole the concept to develop their own Blockchain based technologies.

It’s good to hear her say that. She probably realizes that it’s too late to stop a speeding train. This is a worldwide technical and economic movement that a single government can’t stop. The only thing they can do is impose some regulations and tax requirements on those that profit from cryptocurrencies. It’s going to eventually be as big as the internet.

OK, it looks they finally accepted reality Smiley
Until now, they tried to ignore us or block us but since nobody can control Internet, nobody can control crypto.
So, if you can't win somebody, join him Smiley
I hope other banks and financial institutions will follow soon.

About economic and social landscape that he said it well. The news is not bad, but I want to hear from the us a clear decision in favor of technology and coins. They always say it's good technology, but they don't take anything sensible.
