Bitcoin is already enough for me, at a start so bitcoin will gain adoption and we know how it would impact the market. I think next year we might see more good news regarding this platform and with that, I'm expecting the market will continue to be bullish with more positive news to come not only from MasterCard but with other financial services as well.

There is a lot of interesting news that supports the market to be bullish and all companies should act like Mastercard and Visa, as private companies they should be realistic.  Bitcoin and other crypto is a promising business, no one is harmed by this business except the government as a regulator who idolizes fiat.  I'm sure when market to the moon, others will realize how promising crypto is to develop.
I can say that this will also push big companies and other countries to create their own cryptocurrency exclusive for themselves. Like China that made their own Digital Yuan.

Mastercard, Visa, and many are coming to join the party. This literally to see that adoption is growing and this could be somewhat unstoppable coz we know that it gives huge benefits to us which is too far to compare to fiat money. I believe this would succeed and give more convenience to all MasterCards users.

Obviously, if MasterCard accommodates every transaction that can be done using the card, it is an convenience that can be done by many of its users.
This news will certainly increase trust in bitcoin, which will clearly have a positive contribution to bitcoin, because Mastercard already has its own market share and is worldwide.

This is a sign that the crypto world is increasingly popular around the world and many large companies want to work with it, as you said Mastercard is a large company that stores many assets so that every transaction that is done there are no obstacles so that we are comfortable in using, if later their cooperation can run well then crypto cards are easy for us to use, And this will also have a positive impact on the crypto market itself, although this is only a business from Mastercard but cooperation like this expect.

A bank or payment provider that ignores an asset class that is worth more than two trillion dollars by now must be insane. This is similar to Steve Ballmer claiming that the Iphone will fail with the difference being that cryptocurrencies have already a proven track record.

Mastercard, if you ask me, took even quite long to really get on board.

Good news through MasterCard. I have no idea about this. As far as I know Bitcoin is connected to MasterCard. This is very good news for us. Bitcoin transactions can be done through MasterCard. But we do not know what our chances are. Hopefully I get a master card too soon and take advantage of it.

This is just business and it has found the increase in the usage of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. For business growth it is always a must to move with the market trend and understanding the people's need.
Yup, that's what's having a business mindset is about - making use of the available opportunities out there. Crypto is clearly a big opportunity, one that not even a multi-billion company can afford a pass on.

You can't grow a business without taking into account global movers in your space, and I believe this merge (if it will take place) will nicely strengthen the gap between fiat and crypto, once again.

The launching of master card for bitcoin is a good development. It will increase the value and credibility of the all cryptocurrencies and Bit coin. There was already heard about the news of withdrawal of cryptocurrency through ATM,. But Master card is the great development and a good news for all the community that works on online based business. I think this will increase the spread & flow in the future may be a legal or not but people love to do this business. This trade is popular among all communities  and all age of life.

Before now I’ve seen Visa announced this same news that they’re going to be allowing users to make use of cryptocurrency on their platform, and it’s  been years back since they announced it, though the last time I checked it happened that they were only accepting USDT.

I have also been expecting MasterCard to release this same feature, and it is good that they have finally released the same feature and will now allow Companies that are making use of their platform to be able to integrate cryptocurrency into their services. I am just hoping that they’re not going to limit the options available too much, at least there should be Bitcoin and some other altcoins to make a choice from.
Visa and MasterCard are competing against each other and when once company decided to tap into the cryptocurrency space the other jumped on it as well because they know that if they delay then Visa will have a large market share in the cryptocurrency space. For the end user it is good to have these options as we will get the best product at competitive rates.

definitely, the more choices we have the better. we can also compare their fees. and whichever is giving more competitive rates, that's where we usually go to. let us see what alts are they going to integrate as visa is said to be only integrating USDT. maybe, we will see the deployment of crypto via Mastercard next year. because it would take time for the partner banks to fix their protocols on this. so they need to set-up their system first when it comes to crypto services.

Mastercard is a billion-dollar company, according to this article, https://www.macrotrends.net/stocks/charts/MA/mastercard/net-worth, its net worth as of October 26, 2021, rises to $356.09B, imagine how much money would circulate in the network of this company and how easy crypto transactions would be using one of the biggest financial company in the world.

From the very beginning, they announce accepting crypto, I can already see the huge impact in the future and we should consider this reason as the basis for still holding bitcoin long term.

A Mastercard is a payment processor which works with banks and other companies and provides payment Online through many options, when we talk about them integrating with cryptocurrencies we have to understand that they won't be as easy since it would be more focused on the banks as well.
The banks would need to allow the payments as well, it would be more of a matter of adopt rather than the Mastercards themselves, therefore I do think even though they might agree to let the cryptos through they might have to think about how to integrate these payments with the banks itself.
Therefore as I see there will be three layers here :
Government
Banks
MasterCards themselves
Therefore this news is quite good but it cannot by itself make the payment option better for cryptocurrencies, it's more or so a little push from their side.

This will be very good again in the future, for adoption I think it will be very difficult for masetercard because it is still hampered by the third person but actually it will be more profitable when you see them now by just spreading their wings by accepting cypto their increase is quite pronounced.
but on the other hand if they plan to do something even more fantastic I think it will shake the economy because they are a pretty big company.

It looks like Mastercard wants to get a head start on Visa, American Express and Discover cards. It was inevitable that one company would become the first to officially endorse cryptocurrencies with all the big press they've been getting lately, the others will definitely follow suit and adopt something similar eventually. Great news for current Bitcoin holders and one big step towards much larger adoption now it is supported by a payment network accepted almost everywhere. It'll be interesting to see how they implement it, whether it will only cover Bitcoin at the beginning and if they will allow you to keep a separate Bitcoin wallet instead of converting everything on the go.

many exchanges can collaborate with mastercard, this can facilitate access for bitcoiners to invest in cryptocurrencies. and if we dare to take risks, then we can use the card to invest with a smaller usage interest calculation than the increase in crypto prices, especially when it is bullrun season, of course we can make a profit without using capital, which is like getting a loan from the card

Actually master card or any other service provider are already being used to purchased crypto even before this announcement. There's a lot of 3rd party crypto exchange that accepts fiat to buy crypto but charge an insane amount of transaction fee like shapeshift and simplex. Even Centralized exchange like Binance, Kucoin and Huobi is accepting credit as payment for crypto purchasing. I don't what's new services they will offer on this news.

As we are seeing that the number of people in the business of cryptocurrency is increasing day by day. This business is getting popularity among all ages of life. Yet Having legal issues in some countries its spread and flow cannot be controlled by anyone.
As we have already heard the news about cryptocurrency withdrawal through ATMs.That is not surprising that the use of the master card for cryptocurrency and Bitcoin has started. or it will start soon. It will increase the worth and value of this business.

Mastercard CEO during a meeting with investors said that the company has recently been paying a lot of attention to the study of digital currencies of central banks (CBDC).He claimed that the company would be able to provide a safe place for government and private banks to figure out how it would actually work.

A few days ago, the company announced a partnership with the Bakkt platform, thanks to which banks and merchants using Mastercard will be able to integrate cryptocurrencies into their business. It is goot to Mastercard that they don't stay aside.

Mastercard accepting crypto is definitely a big news and will definitely impact the growth of price in bitcoin.
This is just the beginning of wide adoption of bitcoin throughout the globe. Things are just getting started and we don't know how things will unfold in future.
The financial system is about to change and bitcoin has a huge role to play in it.
The tremendous growth of bitcoin has surely caught many people's attention and this will just improvise in the future.
It was Visa before that had accepted crypto as a payment revenue and now its Mastercard already that is adopting crypto lately. Big changes have become inevitable for crypto and it only means that crypto has its own  great potentials that anyone can't resist. Although it takes time for crypto to be fully understood and later adopted, but the waiting time is really worth it. Now that visa and mastercard have been part of crypto already, then it will not be surprising if more and more digital finances will be interested in crypto and finally start to adopt it soon.

Although this may seem like a big thing but it is not, because master themselves don't intend on accepting or implementing cryptocurrencies in the way they do transactions, and allowing the business and merchants to do so is not a big deal because they will be reeling on third parties to do this, which is not a new thing as there are a ton of credit and debit cards that are Mastercard approved that you can fund them with cryptocurrency, but never the less this is a step toward the future, and it seem that we are seeing that companies are racing to get involved in the crypto trend which is good thing.

Very interesting news for us crypto users of course, if they can later cooperate with crypto then the transactions we do are very fast because the assets they have today are very large and there will be no obstacles in financial problems of course, and this all happens because the popularity of bitcoin is getting bigger so many large companies want to cooperate with the crypto world and they must be able to adjust to the market movements that are always there change.

Allowing banks to offer crypto services is a start, but it doesn't mean that banks will actually try it and won't fight back. I can't imagine the top bank of my country offering Bitcoin debit cards, to be honest. I also wonder which tax implications and fees will be involved. Oh, I also find the video interesting. You can store BTC, but when it comes to the question of paying, the guy says that you can pay because it's possible to convert into fiat. So what we have are custodial wallets, and a way of converting cryptos into fiat if you want to pay for things with it. Not so great, to be honest.

I am not sure what role Mastercard will be playing once  they get to start working with cryptocurrencies but am certain they are coming in to provide some kind of exchange services which Is our crypto for their fiat and vice versa, which if you read between the lines they are the real beneficiaries in all this !! Not to sound negative this is certainly huge news which could influence some countries to make crypto legal to use but we have to stay put and wait to see what happens.

Of course, happy news for all Crypto lovers, everyone is waiting for this news because it will have a great positive impact on Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general. This adoption will lead to the ease of spreading and exchanging cryptocurrencies around the world due to the MasterCard network that covers all countries of the world.
I don't know yet how this will actually be implemented but MasterCard has announced its partnership with Bakkt exchange to provide crypto-to-money conversion and vice versa, I don't know whether users should have an account on the Bakkt platform or just having the card is enough to do all the transfers and it's done automatically ?

it is a sort of market anticipation and as the crypto market is moving forward, that they likely embracing the huge changes.
Mastercard is also known to the most and if they are serious and officially adopted Bitcoin, I could really see a huge impact on the market price and the more demand is flowing.

To this time, it was more interesting to hear more updates from them and I believe this would encourage other big companies to go with the flow and help themselves to accept and understand cryptocurrency.

In fact, this kind of good news brings a lot of benefits to our cryptocurrency. They have never heard such good news from MasterCard again but now they have conveyed this good news to the world.Maybe Bitcoin is transacted through banks in different countries and Bitcoin is transacted through Visa card. I would be interested to see if and how they enable bitcoin payments. If you make it similar to Paypal, then it should be very easy to do. Or will they use Lightning? I read Mastercard generates 2,000 transactions per second, which is many more than BTC. Bitcoin can do 4-7 transactions, so the solution is maybe Lightning or its own Mastercard system. Looking at the upcoming tipping payment on Twitter, and the StrikeApp, I see an opportunity there, also for small payments.
For cryptocurrency, this is a gigantic success. The reason: 2.8 billion Mastercards in use. This is a revolution and it is happening worldwide. Paypal I think is the reason and a example that Mastercard has followed. I just ask myself one question: How many million people will use Mastercard-Bitcoin in the first months?

If that news is real, we may see a good thing will happen to the crypto as Mastercard has many customers interested in the crypto. It could attract their attention to invest in crypto or just buy and sell the crypto using their card in the exchanges, which can boost the crypto popularity. With Visa and now Mastercard, that can help the crypto get more users involved in crypto and hopefully, that can lift the price to increase.

The news about Mastercard might sound bullish for the crypto industry, but I'm very cautious about such news.Last year, everyone was excited about Paypal becoming crypto friendly, but the whole Paypal adoption was just a gimmick designed to fool the cryptocurrency enthusiasts.Paypal isn't crypto friendly and it never will be.Nobody can withdraw any cryptocurrencies from his/her Paypal account.
If the Mastercard crypto adoption looks like the Paypal crypto adoption, then I'm not that enthusiastic about it..
Maybe we should be neutrally related to that news to clearly see what will happen after the news releases. I think Mastercard's official website or high-level official can clarify this news to the public so the public can decide whether that is good news or they need more things to start investing in crypto. Or maybe we will see another announcement from them related to that news.

Gladly, I never use Paypal to buy or hold crypto in my Paypal account  Grin

This announcement was planned a few months ago by MasterCard, and they also said that the end of the year will start by including crypto payments for its users. This provides good news for crypto flows and will also easily lead to price increases in the market. Like when PayPal accepted Bitcoin at the time, which was the starting point for 2021.

Happy to welcome the adoption of MasterCard which is currently being implemented, hopefully good news for the crypto market, especially Bitcoin.

It may not appear as many people would want but to me I think it is still a positive news to the crypto community, Mastercard is a huge payment company and which means can bring more people into crypto if possible, many new comers will have the opportunity to spend crypto easily, crypto adoption is spreading slow and steady.

This news will surely shock the world very much if it does happen.
Bitcoin, I think, will burst upward in its price tag, it will be an unattainable asset for a low class, because its value will not be attractive to small investors. In general, this news from the master card is a step into the future of transactions.

It's cool and good for the whole crypto adoption (unless you are those old cryptopunk anarchists that would like to keep cryptos seperate from current financial system), but it doesn't shock anyone. There already are companies that issue visa and mastercard crypto debit cards, only difference is that now they are partnering with Bakkt. And only reason i haven't taken the mastercard yet is because my free visa crypto debt card works just fine in everywhere.

If the Mastercard crypto adoption looks like the Paypal crypto adoption, then I'm not that enthusiastic about it..

There is also another topic about this case and this article in the forum. Visa and Mastercard using/accepting bitcoin were always expected to many people because these payment methods are being used by many people all over the world and bitcoin are recently getting used as a payment method and this will provide many features to the users of this method. So, this was always expected to see in order to don't lose the consumers and don't let them abandon these payment methods to crypto, Mastercard doing such a thing for thisown benefits.

I haven't encountered related topic aside from this thread but this kind of news or information was delighted me because this was another breakthrough for bitcoin and for the crypto platform in general. On the other hand it is also expected that slowly and step by step many business establishments will going to adopt digital finance in the circulation of their business, it might be looks like a business strategy for them to be able to catch up on the newest trend but this is a good and positive view for the crypto itself.

Ever since Paypal opened its gates to crypto, the rest will have to follow. We can probably expect even further development in the future. Likely more than we even anticipate.

This is just business and it has found the increase in the usage of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. For business growth it is always a must to move with the market trend and understanding the people's need. MasterCard is a billion dollar company, and it makes the largest number of transactions per second. If this has adopted cryptocurrency directly then it would've impacted the market big. What it has been doing is having third party services like bitpay that does the conversion of bitcoin and provides in fiat.

Mastercard doesn't have plans of receiving/accumulation of bitcoin. It has broadened it's business and not into real adoption.

This is something to be aware of, maybe Mastercard at the beginning of merging with crypto has a positive effect.  however, with such a large influence mastercard can create a shock in the crypto market and this is something to watch out for.  because shocks in the crypto market can affect prices

Every financial institution is trying hard to position themselves in line with cryptocurrency adoption. I'm not surprised we would still get to see more adoption coming up not long from now. But in the meantime it's a good innovation and a start of a bigger era for Bitcoin in general and a signal to hold on the more to our coins

Just wise business sense! Bitcoin is one of the most sought after asset of this decade and everyone wants their cut from the cake. But this is what we really need to celebrate because mastercard is not going to make investment into bitcoin and make it more centralized rather they are going to enable crypto transactions into their super established network.

So everyone within their network can transact crypto within their network. This is something big for the future of crypto adoption.

This news will surely shock the world very much if it does happen.
Bitcoin, I think, will burst upward in its price tag, it will be an unattainable asset for a low class, because its value will not be attractive to small investors. In general, this news from the master card is a step into the future of transactions.

Looks like the least we can do is to support them when they start implementing this plan and as a MasterCard user myself, this is great news and I'm hoping to try it as soon as they released it.

Their client will support it because they have a big number of clients, they would still do the same transaction, it's just that there's some addition which is crypto, just like a store that accepts online digital payment like Paypal and then they added crypto for the currency they are accepting.

It's the adoption that will make this crypto market a better world to play, more adoption would result in less manipulation, and we hope it will happen in the long run.

I heard of Visa and now we have Mastercard working to reach their hands in the crypto industry. this kind of news itself is healthy for the crypto market. I think it's best for them to start working on it since PayPal has already done the same and they are on their way to success.

Well, if MasterCard adopted crypto, then crypto would be more user-friendly for normal users too. Some companies are trying to create crypto cards. And they have had little success too, like on crypto.org. These cards are people’s favorites, and some companies are coming. So people are really friendly with card payment. So if the world's biggest card payment service provider is interrogated with cryptography, then crypto and card payments will control the world's payment service. Do you believe what I believe, guys?I think lots of people's opinions will be the same as mine. Let me know what you think too.

This makes the adoption getting bigger and we should celebrate by now.

Quote
Mastercard is preparing to announce that any of the thousands of banks and millions of merchants on its payments network can soon integrate crypto into their products, CNBC has learned.
