Ofc not, just want to make sure they know they may fry some expensive device like a laptop in case they use one, especially if it is not a high endurance one (business/gaming models).
I would like to point out that there are still people out there who just want to mine for the fun of it. Sure, they can't quit the day job, and sure, its gonna fry something sooner or later... but shouldn't you still encourage people to want to be a part of this? or is this scene just a bunch trust fund shit heads who only care about money... who gives a crap about changing the world, right?

Isn't the point of PPS that it doesn't really matter how big, or small the pool is?Big pools solve blocks quicker, but even if they never solve a single block, i get paid per submitted share.

I use this laptop rather frequently so I only mine in my spare time or when I'm not doing graphically intensive things. I get about 30-33 MH/s on my GTX 460M and I'm wondering which pool would be best for me to use.
I've tried a bunch but haven't been totally pleased with any of them, and I'm wondering if there's ones I'm missing.
And I know people are going to attempt to convince me to build something for mining. I'm already considering it, but I need the money first (no, these funds aren't going toward that).

However, I suggest you dont bother, you will do less than 5 USD per month and you will risk breaking your laptop card by overheating, repair or replacement will cost you what you will get in an year..

I'd avoid it altogether. 33mhash will give you ~$0.11 per day. You could run it for a whole month and buy a single beer with your BTC
