You'd think google would verify stuff like this. Seems anyone can buy adverts to scam from them.

Nah, Google verifies after things are reported. Same with the Google Play store; the number one most downloaded anti-virus apps was a scam  (just screens, no scanning at all) Cheesy

I thank God i know how to write an address! blockchain.info is very  easy to write!

But I see everyday people searching on google for gmail or yahoo ....

I just hope they didn't hacked anyone with this cheesy ad!

Thanks for the warning!

The same ad was showing up yesterday pointing to a different URL with the same phishing page.  Here is a link to one of the reddit threads about it:

google either doesn't vet their ads or they are complicit with it. i remember them getting sued for advertising controlled substances.

instead of moaning about it on a forum which people can still read in months to come.. how about report it to google and get it taken down instantly.. then it becomes a non issue

that goes for everyone, if you see something bad, report it to the source
Sorry sir but I think it was a wise decision from OP , to post it here and make others aware of it..! and more people can report it like i did .

Posting here is important because this has been going on for months. As soon as Google takes this one down, another one will take its place.

A search for "blockchain" on google resulted in an add on the top of the search result which redirects to, I believe,  a hacked site:

Google URL : http:// goo.gl / 9C321G
Target URL: http://blockchain-info-wallet.megamusicpm.com/

Be careful!
