I am just floored that Google let Microsoft's Bing beat them to this one. I'm glad that Google has rolled out with something; and, in the end, it's better than Bing's version. It strikes me that Google's minimalistic search result display could have done this without the chart. I did learn that Google is using Coinbase's API to display the data as well, which is a big win for the Coinbase folks.
Ah, so it uses Coinbase then. I wonder why they chose to use Coinbase rather than a weighted average of multiple exchanges?

This is great news. Does anyone know where they are pulling the current value from. I assume it is preev but its hard to confirm because it changes every second.

if they will create a BTC wallet then there business will hit.
Don't think they'll be making a Bitcoin wallet anytime soon to much risk and unpredictable future and also the security risks could outweigh the pros.

This is rather bullish to me because Google can tell before anyone else how much interests Bitcoin is getting. This means there has been enough interests to make these changes worthwhile to Google. This news makes me smile.
