Can't you disable 2FA in your accounts? You should do it and re-enable it. Contact support if you were unable to disable it.

I also suggest the OP (if I can write this post) to save a copy of the qr-code or the code that the site gives you before you enable the 2FA. This can prevent any sort of problem, if you will lose your telephone or delete (wrongly) the app.

+10. I also suggest to download (future) codes. Some sites offer it. So you can use it to recover when you loose your phone. It will work regardless of the timezone.

Some services refresh codes(i.e. create new code) if you fail to enter correct code when you setup but this looks like a bug. I suggest you to disable 2FA, remove and install Google Authenticator and re-enable 2FA by scanning codes. Before you do, try to do this:

  • Restart your phone.
  • Enable automatic time update.
  • There is an option to update time in Google Authenticator, use it.

Hope this works. I use Google Authenticator and I ain't having any problem so far.

Restarted phone... same issue.  I see so many coinbase, blockchain and neteller codes.

how do i do time update?  Is it time based on google aut?  Is that what you mean or you mean the regular time?  The thing is this... my time zone on my iphone isn't correct so i have to go forward 1 hour.  Im in mexico.

this is just very frustrating.

Well, IMO these 2fa apps can potentially create more problems than they actually resolve/prevent. I was considering using Authy myself but after I read up on it, I decided not to. It seems to me that a lot things can go wrong with these apps and you can find yourself locked out of your own account and then it's a nightmare to get support to resolve the issue. I just use regular txt message for 2fa on all sites. You can do that on Coinbase as well, I have my phone linked to my account and they just txt me the verification code. I personally don't think these 2fa apps are worth the hassle. Good luck with your issue though.

I've experienced very similar issue(s) from time to time but have found that re-syncing my Google Authenticator app always seem to take care of the issue.

There is a reason that each individual entry is a unique # for a limited period of time.  If all the codes where the same across all app's just imagine how bad 'centralized' passwords could ultimately work out for you ˁ(⦿ᴥ⦿)ˀ

PS, you should only have a single Google Authenticator entry for each account...having several for your Neteller login will be an issue.

How did you resync google authen?

Yes that is what i figure... so why do i have so many entries for each acct.  Also.. my neteller email address isn't the same as my first email address that i have listed that i connect with coinbase and blockchain and my regular gmail.

So i have no idea how to fix this issue.

I assume this is the right place to post this topic. First off, i downloaded google authenticator because i hear its good for 2 FA. I use it for coinbase, blockchain and a certain poker site. I also have tried doing this with neteller but im having a lot of issues.

I like to mention that i use 2 email addresses. So the first one you see is my regular email that i set up 2fa on. The other email for neteller is an email that i use specifically for neteller. I didn't set anything up such as settings etc but theres tons of issues with it now as i cannot seem to use Google Authenticator with coinbase, blockchain or neteller and it tells me for neteller im putting in the wrong verification code. Also these aren't my real email address but just putting it as an example.

When i first use google authenticator with blockchain and coinbase, it was fine. However, there are tons of issues with it now it seems. First off, when i try to scan the barcode with neteller now... there are lot of problems. But when you go and look at the codes available.... this is what it would show on my iphone....

My google authenticator would look like this when i open it

First off, why is there so many of the same codes for each one. Shouldn't there be only one word/code for coinbase, blockchain, neteller? Im confused why theres multiple neteller codes and when i type all of them, not one of them work when trying to get it to work on neteller.com. Blockchain i type in the verifcation code, still doesn't work.

Does this have something to do with the time setting t hat i read about? I made my iphone where time zone is on but it isn't set to automatic. Basically i cannot use google authentitator right now because of this. I even deleted it and installed it again... but i have no idea how come there are so many different codes. Does anyone know whats the issue here?
