According to research firm Blockdata, Google's parent company Alphabet actively invested in crypto startups between September 2021 and June 2022.

Since September 2021, public businesses have spent more than $6 billion in blockchain startups. Google, though, has led the charge, spending $1.5 billion of the $6 billion.

Other firms include BlackRock, which committed $1.17 billion, and Wall Street titans Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs, which spent $1.1 billion and $698 million, respectively.

Among the IT businesses are Samsung, DapperLabs, and others. Since September of last year, Samsung has participated in 13 investment rounds, making it the most active investor during that time.
