The BitAxe uses an ESP32. It doesn't support 5Ghz. It connects via 2.4Ghz like most IoT devices.

You can see what the WiFi password is if you press F12 to enter the development console, inspect the element and change the attribute "type" to "text" from "password". The dots is just a standard password field in HTML that browsers render as dots. It's not bad design, that's just how password input fields are.

It should support WPA-PSK2.

Hi!
First post and a noob question..
I got the Bitaxe Supra and it is straight forward config and probably way to spartan.

Just enter Wifi siid and the password to the Bitaxe Supra config..
But it want not to connect to any of my wifi:s.
Nothing wrong with the wifi signal strength.
A limitation is the bad Bitaxe Supra config page. You can not see what the password is ********.. so you cant confirm that it is ok.
But if you are super careful then it is OK. The second thing the password takes only 8 caracters so my wifi password is more than 8..

You can enter more than 8 car in the box but then it just chop off the rest when you save and refresh! So that only eight ******** is still in the box..

Of course I alter my wifi password to be max 8 but still not connecting.
I tried first 5 Ghz then 2.4 Ghz and I guess it should be on the 2.4 Ghz.. ..no info on requirements in the papers that come with it.
But is it WAP or WAP2 (yes you try everything) Smiley or I am just trying to figure out what is going on..

Do anyone know where the support or can point out where I can get the latest firmware.
It should be so simple got already tired of it when it is useless without wifi connection. Sad
