Mining is expensive, but is also a personal preference. You have to factor in Electricity Costs and Computer costs and these days you need a decent computer with a good GPU.  I'm still new and constantly learning myself.   I don't think anyone can predict exactly what will happen. Some say another coin could eventually become the King Coin and others think Bitcoin will always be the King Coin.

Serious opinions only please!

I've searched through the forums a bit and seen a few post asking "Where do i start" or something similar. I think 90% of the replies say "Watch YouTube" or "Google it". Although i understand it is possible to find a few of the answers i have on YouTube, i want to save myself the trouble and skip the process of filtering through videos of 12 year olds trying to poorly explain something or someone just trying to bait you to a site to use their referral link. I get the general idea of bitcoin and other altcoins. But with mixed opinions from people in other threads like twitter and facebook groups, its hard to get a clear answer and make decisions based off of them. So i know to acquire coins you either invest, or mine them. But what is best to do in current time. Me having obviously joined the whole cryptocurrency party a little late i have know idea what the best way to get coins is. I also want to state that im not wanting to get into the world of cryptocurrencies to become rich and drive fancy sports cars. But i wouldnt mind some extra pocket change now and then. Also, are the rumors of Bitcoin falling and crashing something I need to worry about or are those commons rumors with this type of thing? From what ive learned and read up to this point, i'm thinking an investment is the best route at this time? But mining also isn't useless either. So i guess most peoples question is how do i start but mine would be more like, Is it even worth starting in the first place. And if so, is mining or investing more profitable at the moment?
