Because you should know what are the exchange for example of the ICO sometimes they only got 1 exchange from the start from what you are saying if they are not in the any kind of exchange thay can be only on 1 to 4 that are not papular you should make an research about that go back to the ICOs telegram and ask the exchange of there token. There are times that people are willing to buy tokens pre-ICO but they will most likely buy it at a lower price. If you really do need the money for whatever the cause, find a job in real life or seek help from your friends and relatives, or you may also get an emergency loan, but you have to be responsible for the borrowed money. ICO tokens will really take a while before you will be able to liquidate it.
Getting ICO tokens didn't guarantee you can change an instant money. You need to consider if the token have potential for that there will be interested buyer for your tokens. Or wait the ICO tokens to be listed on some exchangers. Most of the time they will be announcing what month they are planning to be listed on exchangers.

ICO tokens can not be turned into money very fast. You should wait for the exchange listing. And most of the time, people sell their tokens and drop the price below ICO price. If your token doesn't get listed on exchange then there is no way to get your money,all you can do is try to sell your tokens for cheaper rate than the ICO price at the marketplace section,if someone thinks that is is worth to invest then they will buy but the chances of happening is merely low. At the moment everything is low in price. This is why you do not have the coin you need when you need cash. Whichever you distort, you will break down. Since a large part of the ico's belong to useless campaigns, you can make money by choosing them
If they are not listed at any exchange sites then your chances are slim. You cant sell them yet not unless it will be listed, but if you are lucky enough; maybe someone will want to buy that token of yours and exchange them with what you have.

You have just been taught patience which is what you signed up for by default when you decide to join the campaign and I am glad for you that you got paid a lot of other campaigns just leave without fulfilling their promise to those they owe it to. Even if you manage to sell, I doubt if it will be enough for you to meet your needs because you will be selling at a discounted price to someone who knows the project and believes its best to hold and acquire more. My suggestion is to source for the money needed somewhere else and wait till when the token will be listed on an exchange platform.
To sell your tokens you must wait it to listed in exchange platform, you should know that holding is better than selling because you will may gain a huge profits.

If you need the money urgently you can go onto their telegram group and ask if anyone wants to buy it via escrow. Perhaps someone on the team would be willing to escrow the exchange for you, otherwise you need to wait for it to hit the exchanges
Which token? I think if you're going to sell your token right now, you'll not be able to sell it as high as ICO price cause whole market is dumping so no matter if it's a good ICO project or not, price of these token will also be dumped to lower than ICO price. I'm sorry to hear that baby issues but unfortunately, you can't sell them unless they are listed. I posted something about listing before and some Sr. Member - Legendary members told me that listing process might take longer because there is a chance that the team is probably focusing on other things like the product itself.

You better always have a good money management where an emergency saving must always filled not empty, so whenever you are in urgent situation, you won't get in trouble and have too much expectation but the reality says different. You need to wait until the team successfully managed to list it on exchanges and that can take time, I invested in ICOs in March that are still not listed. You need a lot of patience.
This is bad. Some ICOs is taking while to get listed on the market. If you have some alitcoin then use it temporary then buy them if you have money again.

As far as I know you can't sell your token if not yet listed in exchanges. It will takes 2 to 3 months to get listed on exchanges depending on the resources the team have and if they can afford to pay to get listed then maybe 1 month is long enough. Unfortunately you did not mention what token you save so we can not give you a solution how you should sell maybe you can sell it to fellow community in your telegram group who knows someone will accept your token, and the rest I want to advise you not to too much hope at work in this forum alone you also have to keep working off line so that in an emergency like you experience this at least you still have money in your pocket. Well, it takes sometimes maybe about months for a token to get listed on reputable exchanges, but if the token you are holding is an ERC-20 compatible you can sell them on decentralized exchanges just by using the smart contract address of the token. if your token is not ERc20 compatible, then there is nothing can be done you have to wait or you can concern with your friends if they are willing to buy, if they seem that coin will be worth in future they may buy it. Just try don't lose hope.

I think almost all the tokens are listed or you can list them and put the price you want to sell them at etherdelta or forkdelter! I also believe that you have legitimate issues why you want to sell them if not I could have advised you to still keep them until there are listed in big exchange like binance and hitbtc.

If it's an Ethereum token, you can try to search the contract address of the token in ForkDelta. Usually you can find any Ethereum token there, and you can place an offer for what price you want to sell your token there.

I agree that you can sell them to other members using an escrow but should in a reasonable price however the sad part is it is not listed and there's high risk when it comes to a new coin.

There are ways to sell the coin, there are 3rd parties that buy the coin from you and keep it until they hit exchange, those people can be found on any crypto related group ,especially the telegram group of the ICO coin itself

what kind of token did you have it ?
if your token is an ethereum token, you can sell it on forkdelta or etherdelta my friend
but, if not you should wait until the token being listed on exchange,, because there is no place to sell it if your token not listed on any crypto exchange
That must be hard. Sadly, the only advice we can give is to hold it until it has a value. You only would like to buy tokens without the price probably someone it you agree with the price. I highly suggest to be patience coz a month or two it might ge successful and with much higher value on it.

I think you should never depend on money from bounty campaigns or ICO for your daily life and always work here as a part time job. As, you will notice that now you are in need of money and you can't exchange your tokens as they are not listed on any exchange. I will suggest that you should ask for help from some investors which may buy your tokens and you can negotiate its price or you can take a loan on your tokens and if you fail to repay you will lose your tokens also. But be prepared as you will get less money as your token is not listed on any exchange and it will be very risky for anyone to buy them.

Well in general if its not listed on an exchange there really isn't anything you can do about it. Though the best suggestion i could give you in this case s to go on the telegram groups or subreddit of the particular token and try and see if there are any buyers there, in this case you could do a private deal.(keep in mind that there are lot of scammers there so best to be very cautious and use some form of escrow service when making these sort of deals especially if the amount is relatively large.
Have you checked dexes though, if its an erc 20 token you could probably find some buyers there. IDEX is generally a good bet.

You mentioned that currently that token is not on an exchange but you could contact the development team for that token to find out when it will be on an exchange and which exchange that will be. If it’s a good project, then at some point it’s going to get added to some of the big exchanges.

Sorry to say this mate, but i think it could be difficult for you to sell your tokens because it's not yet listed in any exchanges. But you can still make a thread here in this forum that is stating that you want to sell your holdings, but as i said earlier it could be difficult and if you ever find a buyer, i'm sure it can be bought in just a very low price only.
Sell these coins if you really need money. And do not pity them, because you can still earn other coins! If this is possible, then do not sell the entire amount. Leave some part of the coins for the future growth of value.

But if you need a money for the surgery of your baby it's better to sell it, the most important is your baby than your token. Do not ignored your baby surgery, just for the good value of your token, that you didn't sure if it have a good future. There's many chance to gain again a tokens not just once.

You cannot sell the token unless it gets listed on an exchange and it might be a bit difficult to get a buyer to buy from you privately and even if you get one, it might not be at a reasonable price. I will advice you wait till it get listed on an exchange and then you can sell at profitable price.

You can't sell your token if not yet listed on any exchanges as people will not buy directly to holder to avoid being scam. Although theirs a possibility that someone might buy your token directly from you but be careful to deal it to the people you don't know. If you have a circle of friends that are doing crypto, then ask them that you need to dispose as you need money. Just make a try to ask your friends, usually here in my community we are doing that even if the token is not yet listed on exchanges for a humanitarian reason but don't expect for a ICO price. I decided to keep the tokens till they are listed on an exchange. I believe the project and will make lot more than today and will be hard to sell. I will keep my current financial plan for what i need. thanks for the advice tho.

You won't get a good price if it's not yet listed, and you'd probably have to find a buyer then arrange a private sale.
This will likely be difficult, and again you won't get a good price. It is probably better to sell some other coins that you might already have that are already listed.
If the ICO token is very promising and has a legit background that has been being worked out hardly and properly by it's developers, for sure there are people out there that's willing to take it.
There will be no any other interested people to buy it from someone who's actually selling it to dump. Unless the developers will find a way to list it or they are willing to buy back, you need to be patient.

There will be no any other interested people to buy it from someone who's actually selling it to dump. Unless the developers will find a way to list it or they are willing to buy back, you need to be patient.

There's no way to sell if that token not already listed in any exchanges because sometimes they listed after a month so you need keep updated to that token. I mean why would you invest in an ICO if you didn't believe in the project? Obviously they can't have an exchange ready before finishing their ICO, it takes time and they probably don't want a dumpage of tokens. Your best bet is to wait, I doubt anyone will be willing to buy the tokens from you.
Yeah i actually believe the project and i know it will worth in the near future lot more than i need today. That's a bounty so i did not buy the tokens. instead, i invested time and energy.
But life has always its own plan. Me and my wife always wanted to have a kid but my doctor said i have to get a surgery and thats why i wanted to see if i can make money over this tokens to do what has to be done. of course i have an ongoing financial plan to save money for this but thanks to the people replying to this topic i decided to keep the tokens for near future, it will not help me today but will make a good money in the future.

i appreciate your kind reply. I believe the project and I know that it will worth more than I need when it's in the exchange. The ICO plans to be in an exchange by early of 2019 so a bit patience won't hurt anyone. I decided not to look for quick money as it will be hard to sell and worth less than half of its real price. So now everything is clear, i will keep conducting my current financial plan.

Yes, youre right and this is why I advice people joining an ICO is not the most important part cause the most important part is that the ICO token must be available on exchange as soon as possible after the ICO end and the whole concept of the ICO must be conc in terms of utility.You create a thread if the ICO is tight maybe you can find someone to buy the token and pay you in btc or contact Jamalaezaz for trade but you must be caution though.

Easy to say hard to manage. If the ICO is full of the people with the same targets as you are it is going to be hard to sell tokens, cause of the supply is going to be huge. Unfortunately ico's must be looked at as a long-term investment and not something that you can cash out for instant money, I've seen people involved in a few projects for years in my short research here and I'm sure that people overall don't invest in a coin to see it 100 x overnight unless they are genuinely stupid or an Insider
Very correctly said the man in the second post after the author. You need to look for buyers in the chat of telegrams of the campaign, which you paid tokens. There is simply no other option!

you'd better make a thread about offer in marketplace boards about selling ico tokens you have today. write also your tokens, how many tokens and prices you want. you can also make an offer to investors in their telegram group. You can sell only after the listing of exchanges. But, here you have not mentioned which coin you have got to your wallet. If the coin has heavy demanding then you can approach in Telegram community for peer-to-peer transactions. But, if the token is locked for the transaction then you can only get cash after the listing. So, keep patience.
I do not know which tokens are you holding but tokens can't be sold unless its developers list on exchange. Tokens might give you good profits in future if you wait for the right time.
