maybe psu is not enough for your gpu cards? did you check total power consumption from wall?

It does happen normally, GPUs are not perfect. But if you notice shares being incorrect very frequently, you have an issue with your latency / overclock.

If you get a few incorrect shares every 15 minutes or so, it's nothing to worry about.

Hi mates,
I got 4 Sapphire Radeon RX580 Nitro+ 4Gb ans I got the exact same issue.
I tried lot of stuffs (even leaving GPU at stock configuration) but it still happens.
Tomorrow I'll try changing the riser (I already tried changin PCIe slot) ...
I really don't get wath is wrong. Could it be the GPU that must be returned to manufacturer ?

Thanks

check you gpu temperature, if it is high, adjust ventilation curve.

How often does it happen? It has usually something to do with ether too high clocks or feeding it with too low voltage. Try run the GPU at default settings at first and work from there.

I would bump up the voltage from 850 to 900mv. Have you installed the new mining driver if using windows? If using SMOS there is a mining driver (DAG Fix) version.

My setup is a rig with:
  • 5x Sapphire RX580 Nitro+ 4GB
  • 1x Sapphire RX580 Plus 4GB

I'm using Claymore's Dual Ethereum on Windows 10.

Code:
setx GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0
setx GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100

EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool eu1.ethermine.org:4444 -ewal XXX -epsw x -tstop 85 -tt 55 -fanmin 60 -fanmax 100 -cclock 1130 -mclock 1800 -cvddc 850 -mvddc 940 -dpool stratum+tcp://sia-eu1.nanopool.org:7777 -dwal XXX -dcoin sia -dcri 16 -logfile log.txt

Everything is fine but one single GPU keeps on failing, these are the messages I get from this GPU (one of the Nitro+):
Quote

SC: Received error: {"jsonrpc":"2.0","id":4,"error":{"code":-32700,"message":"target-miss"}}

GPU #0 got incorrect share. If you see this warning often, make sure you did not overclock it too much!

I have tried lowering the memory clock from 2000 to 1800 but the problem is still there.

All the Nitro+ cards are running the same modified bios from Anorak and the same AMD driver.
Any ideas?
