Can admins just delete this fuck wit he scammed me $200usd in btc I was chasing a mpd to m3u8 panel and he blocked and deleted me from telegram. This is his latest account

Post all possible data related to that account. I believe that scammers are lazy and you will find them creating thousands of accounts on this forum, so there is a small possibility that he has an account participating in signature campaigns and then can withdraw from his account profits.

The probability is slim, but anything is possible.

But did you consider that he's a newbie account, did you also consider that having a deal with anyone from this forum is at your own risk, so the user us bot having a negative review on his profile doesn't mean you should trust them, moreover the worst mistake is being a newbie, there's no any review left that gives you the confidence of making deals with him, you chose to make deals at your own risk, i imagine what would have been the outcome if what you transact thousands of dollars together.
mate, you are responding to an almost 1-year-old accusation and even the OP has been offline for a long time, are you sure he's going to come back and see what you just replied? Roll Eyes

Admins do not delete scammer accounts. Please always ensure to protect your funds. If unsure about a service or trader, please always ask the community in the reputation board or service discussion. You will get the much-needed guidance and help.

The scam on the forum is not moderated at all, so you should not expect any reactions from the admin or moderators in this regard. The only way to protect yourself from such things is not to trade with those who do not have any trading history, or to use a verified escrow. Otherwise, you donate money to scammers who take advantage of forums and naive people.

What happened:Got scammed by brandon6969 for 450 dollar in BTC :
He had multiple topics on the marketplace selling CDM’s (content decryption modules) so I start talking to him on discord.
We soon find out we had alot in common and we share the same interests in DRM decryption. We spoke for a few days and we agreed that he will teach me how to do it on one of my own devices.
After a week or 2 I finally got the money and set it all up but as soon as the BTC transaction had 1 confirm he went offline on discord and blocked me.

He was trusting him because he knew what he was talking about and has been a member of this forum for over a year without any negative feedback or flags.

Registration  accounts differs by only two days. Does someone doubt that he still has about 10–20 accounts, for such an OP who believes that if an account has been registered for more than a year, then it should be trusted?
Entering into trust and promising to teach something is, indeed, a serious delusion about one's own significance and need. Fraudsters will create the illusion of caring more about you than your own mother does, just to extract money from you.
There is no limit to human naïveté.

One year or five years in this forum makes no difference if that someone have not build a trust reputation. The member you trusted only had six posts in a year and is only a newbie account.
When I joined the forum in 2015, people were learning this fact the hard way.  Here we are in 2022 and people are still learning the hard way.  How much you want to bet this is never going to change?

I always assumed bitcoin attracted people who wanted a trustless form of money, but what I'm seeing is that a lot of people end up trusting complete internet unknowns, often with large sums of money.  I've even fallen prey to scammers because of this, so I'm not casting aspersions on anyone--it's human nature to want to trust other people, but in crypto you really shouldn't.  If you're doing deals on bitcointalk or anywhere else with someone you don't know, follow the advice given here and in so many other threads: use an escrow!!

$450 is a hefty amount for me
To some people, that's life-changing money.  And even though it wouldn't even buy a decent bicycle where I live, it'd still piss me off to no end if I got taken for that much.  Fuck these scammers.

These are what scammers are good about, they befriend you,  they will make you feel comfortable, will say they like you and they will make you think that you can be trusted and have a lot of transactions and deals, until you fall for it, forgetting everything about asking the forum first and doing escrow, it's like you will betray their trust if you choose to use an escrow, this is a lesson for you and for those who thinks that you should do a deal without an escrow.

sorry for the loss! next time if you decide to make a transaction with someone here in the forum, I suggest following what members suggested here in the thread. I hope this incident will be a lesson for you so you can be more cautious when transacting with someone.

also, regarding the impersonation NeuroticFish mentioned, there have been cases where the scammer pretends to be a well-known member here in the forum by using their username on telegram accounts.

feel sorry to you buddy

$450 is a hefty amount for me,, in order to transact safely on this forum, you must take advantage of the available escrow services because there are many scammers roaming this forum, especially those posing as newbie accounts. damn, that imposter must be laughing by now.

This guy has nothing to lose scamming you even if he is a member of this forum for a year because he is a newbie, he can just create a new account after he scams you, you should have used escrow, people have been warning people to use escrow if you're dealing with newbie accounts but unfortunately, people like you prefer to ignore that warning, so that's the consequences.

He has traded with a newbie account without any kind of escrow, such results are expected. Because they don't want to follow any kind of warning, even after being exposed to so many scams. It has been exposed in this thread that this user already had an alt account. So what more OP can expect from him is the most worrying thing. It's no surprise that those involved in these scams have multiple accounts, and if they succeed with one, they try another to continue the scam.

was trusting him because he knew what he was talking about and has been a member of this forum for over a year without any negative feedback or flags.

So you've trusted (with 450$!!!!) a pretty much inactive account, with only 6 posts, just because it was not caught / tagged until now. Wow  Shocked
Next time learn about escrow (and also about impersonation!). Next time try to work with smaller amounts at a time... Sorry for the loss  Sad

I managed to find one of his alt accounts:

I've also tagged them both now.

Thank you as well for providing the screenshot in question... I already tagged both of the accounts, but you might want to "create a flag [type 2 or 3]" and then post the link here, so with enough support it'll be active & visible.

Feel sorry for you.
Making a transaction to an account that has no reputation needs an escrow, especially in the forum where you should expect anything can go south even with someone with a username mrperfect.

I miss the part where you discuss how you guys are paying. There must be something suspicious as the scammer always does commit mistakes.

Please remove this scammer from the forum so he won’t harm any other users.
Unfortunately, scams aren't moderated on this forum, but I'll tag him if you can include another screenshot that clearly shows the following address belongs to him: 3PhcusTvFJnwikZx1L3DEG2mDvDk8UmwEn

I managed to find one of his alt accounts:

You cannot just trust someone in this forum for not having a negative feedback and flags. You should have created a quick topic here first asking for an advice about trusting someone you just met online. It won't cost you five minutes of your time.

One year or five years in this forum makes no difference if that someone have not build a trust reputation. The member you trusted only had six posts in a year and is only a newbie account.

If you have more transactions online coming, you might consult to this list of recommended bitcointalk escrow services.
