A user won't get banned if he doesn't violate forum rules scamming occurs daily on this forum but he can only be given negative rating nothing else. Another misconception case of legendary member few days ago also someone like you got scammed please try to understand legendary doesn't mean he is trusted your ranks increase based on posts not based on your reputation. Unfortunately your money is gone i hope in future you use escrow no matter rank he is his only feedback matters.

yesterday i posted on a threat that i want to buy some coins with an escrow, then this SCAMMER came to me on PM and says that he could sell me coins with 0.05 BTC.
i went first since he is an old member on BCT and a legendary.
when he got the BTC, i told him to send my coins but he said that i have to wait the wallet crushed,
then he went offline, since then does not reply to my messages.
i have all the conversation with him i can post it here if needed.

Unfortunately i don't think that it is any sort of issue with his wallet whatsoever. This is a carefully planned scam imo and i would think that there might also be other victims who fell for his scam that hasn't spoken up yet.

Regarding your question about why these scammers don't get banned, it's just forum policy, it'll take too much work to ban every single person and i'm sure there will be many complaints arising from admins doing that, as in some cases a scammer could be wrongfully pointed at. This is why looking at the trust feedbacks are so important.

i fully agree with you, it will be too hard to ban every scammer and also it willnot help you to avoid scammers, because all that persons will be banned after he scammed anyone and it will be too late. we can only give to tytanick red trust and that way, help others to be scammed from him.

i am sorry for your lost, but first of all, you must provide proofs that you are talking truth, give us some screens of your chat and transaction ID, after it you can open scam accusation against him and give a red trust.

i am sorry for your lost, but first of all, you must provide proofs that you are talking truth, give us some screens of your chat and transaction ID, after it you can open scam accusation against him and give a red trust.

just came here to say that yesterday i recieved i PM fro tytanick saying that he is not the one who scammed me and his account was hacked,
at first did not believe him since he asked to clear things up by Email ( i thought he's planning to send some phishing links ).
told him if he wants to clear things up we can do it by PMs, so accepted.
then wanted some proofs i sent him this thread so he convinced ....
he covered all my losses and even more ( seems the original owner of this account is a generous person )
so i really believe tytanick was hacked ( hope your new password is strong enough ) and i'm going to remove the red trust from his profile.
