If that's the case, then something is wrong from your girlfriend's side. Either her clipboard was hacked or she pasted a wrong address.
There's no solution because no transaction can be reversed on the blockchain. You and your girlfriend need to be careful next time.

Ask your girlfriend if she has sent you the bitcoins through your bitcoin address and if so, post the bitcoin address here because if it shows no transaction, it means that you never received what your girlfriend sent to you.

If I understand this correctly, the bitcoin sent by your girlfriend was received by another person and spent it already? if that is so, you cannot get it back. Ask your girlfriend who's the receiver on her email.

Based on what i understand with very less detail.

So your girlfriend sent out some Bitcoin and yes, coinbase do really give out email notification neither you do sent nor receive up coins into your wallet.
The question is, did she sent out on the right address? because if those coins didnt arrived into your own wallet then she probably sent out on other wallet address
on where coinbase cant do anything once its been sent out yet transactions are irreversible.

Another way of looking at this is that your account could have been compromised and the bitcoins spent by the hacker as soon as your Coinbase wallet received them or your girlfriend never sent/confirmed sending the bitcoins at all.
Details like your wallet address would be useful in determined what happened.

Can you give the complete story, with as much details as possible? It now sounds like an internal Coinbase transaction that was sent to the wrong user.

No one will be able to help with those info. Can you describe what happened or the issue?

Is it a coinbase to coinbase account transfer using email address of the recipient (you)?
If it is, the transfer should be instantaneous without fees.

If it's an external transfer to a Bitcoin address, you have to wait for Coinbase to send the funds.
It may take a while since they are batching those withdrawals, plus the current fee is quite high, getting confirmations may take a while.
