It may seem like a small amount but money is money. I understand your pain, everytime you just think oh if i didnt get over charged here then i could of had this little bit extra for this. It will stick with you for a while but i think eventually you will let it go 
It's finally in the back of my head so to speak.

Funny how the human brain works. I can forget what a person looks like in an instant. But I remember this so clearly. 0.03 being the correct tare. The type of fish. The mistake. The estimated magnitude of the mistake.
The funny thing is that I cleaned and gutted the fish and took fillets out instead of even cooking the whole thing. So I wasted so much of it. But of course that doesn't matter as how much I spent wouldn't have changed.
Not a matter of efficiency but of total cost. The devil's in the details.
A few years ago I was doing a lot better financially so I wouldn't have cared one bit. And maybe in the future I'll look back at this and think nothing of it, if I remember it at all.
Maybe something similar will happen and I'll remember it and it'll just put a little smile on my face. Because I won't have to even care a little bit.
