don't go with any cloud mining site, better you buy bitcoin then any cloud or hardware mining contracts
bitcoin mining is not profitable at this price, specially for new miner with new investment as hardware cost

Get the GoPro, at least you'll get some value out of it, and probably can sell it later for a decent amount.

The Antminer S3 will probably generate only a few bucks in its lifetime for you, never coming close to $200, and the resale of it will be even more difficult with the S5 launching this month.

Hi,

Buy hashing power directly, Mining immediately after payment
https://www.hashnest.com/

You must be desperate,  to give so stupid advice.
Antminer S2 for 1.125 BTC Huh

Go ashamed of yourself, you have lost your credibility as representative of the Bitmaintech company in my eyes.

Yes, of late bitmain employees have been getting rather desperate in both their sales techniques and support or lack there of. Easy to ignore them.

As pointed out by Roadstress, the only decent miner on the market for the low end is the sp20.

Just remember, no miner is future proof and new miners are due out soon enough in the new year.

If a GoPro will make you more money and will help your main job, then buy it.
Otherwise you can get another S3 and put both on the same PSU

Hello!

First, I wanted to say I am fairly new to mining. I understand the basics and everything needed to start. As you know its Christmas here in the USA and I have roughly $200. Now, Friday I will be receiving my first Bitmain Antminer S3 (I Have a 800 Watt PSU with 4 PCI-e so i can overclock to ~500 GH/s) but I have a question, what should I do with the money.

(Some Minor Background) I like to do video and photography, and I like to chase storms, well I don't like putting my DSLR out in the wet and cold.

Should I get a GoPro or another Antminer S3? I have been studying the Bitcoin and Altcoin economy for a few weeks, and I noticed the Bitcoin is on the slow decline with a few rises, not as much as of Nov. 2013. One of the few questions I will be asked on here is how much is my power per Kw/H. Let me say I have one of the cheapest in the USA, at a mere $0.04 (Yes, 4 pennies). It would cost me about $122 a year per Antminer S3 at full load (24x7x365) and at $330 per BTC I would make about $760 (Minus the $122). Should I risk my money and double my power to make $1600 a year, or more, or just get what I semi-want now and wait to get a second machine?

The guys and girls on this forum have been doing this longer than me, do you think the market will grow? Im not saying grow to $1,200 but to roughly about $550-$600 per BTC?

Thank You, and sorry for my noobish question, I know no one is a fortune teller!
