Now that's a big title! Yes, they never had, and if they do try to shut down decentralized structure the governments are going to face harsh opposition even from people outside the business sphere. That would be a crime, cryptocurrencies are completely legal and fair.
Since they can’t ahut it down, the next best thing that they can do is to just ban it so that people can stop using it and even when they do it’s not like they can really enforce those bans.

Decentralization grew to become famous in 1999 with Napster. Of path there had been different decentralized systems, but most people did now not be aware of about them. Governments and others with energy shut down Napster (not counting the centralized service also known as Napster, which they offered the name for). They battle nearly each and every decentralized factor we do. After 12 years, I have to ask why they have failed.  Smiley Smiley

governments are 10% officials ordering something and 90% will and common sense of people

there can be envirnments in the world evolving that simply kill and confiscate all bitcoins that enter them, and they will justify that with "humanist" reasons.

so stop overvaluating the "government"

additionally you understimate social cultures that can evolve unspoken.
