It seems strange to me that the gox.com domain on whois have the CEO contact details. Too good to be true I would say..

Every upside has it's down.

Without evidence nobody can know anything. It could just as easily have been purchased by somebody attempting to divide the market and slow the descent maximizing profits.

Until MtGox makes a press release explaining their actions I can't believe it's a Gox plan.

Gox just committed suicide; they committed a cardinal sin in business. Never close the doors unannounced when holding customer money.

It doesn't matter what their plan was. They've given up the ghost...

So I assume it is true that they bought it and add cred to that leaked paper?  Well I guess you could just forward any site to mtgox.com if you wanted, wouldn't see the point though.
