I'd recommend reading this thread and talking to philipma about his builds as well as finksy about a server PSU, I've been looking into the same thing

I almost thought about creating an LLC and going through a local hardware provider for a bulk discount but I'll look there also!
Thank you guys!

Might look at the for sale section (if you haven't already).

Perfect, definitely a non living area.. so i'll look into that. Thank you man.

Other than that does the setup look about right? its pretty much all those components x4 .. 4 rigs.

I just need to figure out how I can get my hands on 24 of these 24-30Mh/s cards..not settling for something slower..

With Windows or Linux you can use Team Viewer (free) to manage the rigs remotely, even from your Smartphone. With smOS all the miner configuration is done from your account on the remote web interface and it can be propagated to all the rigs.

A server PSU is another good option if it's for a non living area, as they can be quite loud under load.

Depending on the motherboard and miner used, you may also need a dummy monitor plug for each rig.

Depending on if you are dual mining or not a 1000 W platinum rated PSU is sufficient for up to 7 RX 4XX/5XX cards per rig with bios mod and will save you money in the long run over a gold. Intel Celeron G3260 is a good CPU option for a LGA 1150 board:

A 64GB SSD is plenty for Windows or Linux. If you want to run smOS, you could get away with using a flash drive.

Awesome I appreciate your input.. I plan on mining mostly ETH but will adjust as prices adjust of crypto across the board.. since all rigs that are assembled beforehand with preinstalled software, so i'm just installing the software to the remote access point where I want do run config, correct?

If you have any other opinions or must knows for me going into this.. I plan on ordering most of my components this evening. Thanks again for your help

Afternoon fellow miners,

So after a long hunt with a chinese reseller of about 3-4 Panda Miners I was suppose to receive.. my wait unfortunately came to an end and I'm waiting on the next batch ..Smh

Having that said I am very tech savvy with computers, hardware, top down..I've decided to build my own 4 rigs, 6 cards per.. please no inquiry on my electrical quite yet i'm having that set up next week but can get back to you on specific electrical stats based on what I plan on running, if you all don't already know ha..

My plan is - Open Air Cases included with the USB's and a 1200W gold supply  x4
                  ASROCK ATX DDR3 1150 Motherboard Anniversary                       x4
                  Intel Processors  (recommendations?)                                             x4
                  Hyperx Fury  4gb 1866 Mhz RAM                                                  x4

SSD for software...unsure of which i'll run so far so any recommendations on that as well is greatly appreciated.

LASTLY and most importantly...GPU's.. I know its difficult to order bulk GPU's but my idea was the AMD Rx470/480 or the Gigabyte Radeon RX 580...

If anyone could layout a recommendation on what GPU's to use, more importantly how/where the hell to order 24 cards....

Thank you to any response ahead of time, very much appreciated.

Happy Mining
Ryan
