Nvidia was mining alt coins not bitcoins.

I never saw or read about a sha 256 nvidia miner.

So this belongs in alt coins

not in bitcoin.

My thoughts are Nvidia fucked up  big time.

They are now tossing bs  around to cover for their decision to produce mining only cards.

Gpu mining will survive  and a clever  development team  will  build   an algo  that nvidia is clearly superior  then amd.

They will promise  fork and fork and fork.

They will open  with  a bang and nvidia cards will mine on.

Read how  monero handles its algo  nvidia should do the same.

Thank you for your answer! Maybe they have announced their retirement on purpose, so that at the next growth of the rate, they will raise the prices for their mining equipment. Now the market is in a state of stagnation and mining is not very profitable business. But with the next take-off of the crypto course, prices for mining equipment will grow again and Nvidia will remain in the winning position.

Leading manufacturer of video cards and chips Nvidia announced its decision to stop focusing on the crypto-currencies, calling as the main reason low yield, which brings this direction (https://news.bitcoin.com/gpu-manufacturing-giant-nvidia-leaves-crypto-mining/)
As we see, the profitability of the mining-oriented chips due to the fall of the market is constantly declining. I believe that in the future the proceeds from this direction will be insignificant.
What do you think about it? How do you see the future of mining and campaigns that produce the equipment necessary for this process?
