Memory size does affect dual mining performance if there is innsufficient VRAM after the Dag. With the current Dag size, only 3 GB cards have signinficantly lower hash when dual mining. I have RX 580/480 8 GB cards and also RX 570 4 GB cards and the performance difference on dual mining with DCR is less than 3% between the two.
Is there any definitive evidence of a correlation between GPU memory and dual mining performance? In other words, is dual mining significantly more effective for 8GB cards compared to 4GB dual mining?
