GPU mining died when ethereum went POS(piece of shit). The good old days are far behind us. Either go into ASICs or DePIN.
I mean gpu mining could be resurrected one day but do you want to spend 2k euros on hardware that will be antiquated when(and if) GPU mining makes a comeback?
I reviews and first time miners who bought these graphics cards have already paid them off or have already recovered almost most of the money they spent on the purchase. And that happened in a year and a half, because the opportunities were there.  And even after a year and a half, they have the most powerful gaming graphics card and another year and a half of warranty.

Ya, I think if you’re a gamer and want to buy a GPU anyway, being able to get a little better one and trying to recoup your costs with crypto is a bit of a gift. I’ve had a lot of gamers over the years laugh at me for telling them to mine crypto and as a result I hear about a lot of people’s regrets often these days.
In theory you can buy a 4090 video card for gaming and pay it off with mining in 3 years.
We spend 2000 dollars and earn every month 30-50 dollars, maybe sometimes 100 dollars.
But I consider such an idea very risky now, but maybe it will be relevant for 5090
It all depends on how much you pay for power. If you have free power, then sure, you can break even in 3 years. At 0.12$ per kwh, even mining the most profitable gpu mineable crypto will have you mining at a loss
With a price of 12 cents, you shouldn't even start mining. I calculated from my price of 5 cents, but also the big data centres have electricity prices starting at 3 cents and ending at 7 cents. With these prices, you can try mining if the graphics card is going to be purchased for other tasks anyway.

I’d hesitate to say that 4xxx series GPUs aren’t profitable to mine with. I’m still mining with a 1080… A lot of the equation depends on how much you’re paying for power or what type of incentives you’re working with. For example, my solar array overproduces power during the day. It is still beneficial for me to mine with that power as opposed to stacking a credit that will get me a small check at the end of the year.
What do you do at night?
On free power, you can still get $7-8 profit per month on this video card, but it all looks sad.
And if you only mine when the solar panel is running, you'll get $3.5-4 dollars per month at best from the video card.

1 dollar for one card is OK in most countries and if it is 30 dollars daily I would take the hassle and trouble to configure, troubleshoot and maintain my rigs.If it is 1 dollar for 30 RTX 4090 then it is not worth,in fact I see now in the very same website if you pay electricity it is only 0.25 dollars profit for one card and so it means 7.5 dollars for 1 day or 225 dollars monthly, well I doubt anyone except in third world countries would take the time and trouble to maintain such hot rigs for such an amount of profit monthly.

Or in a second option people who have no money but have at disposal such cards, they can do it for 225 dollars monthly and diversify such amount in buying different coins that they think have a bright future.

Single or 30 RTX 4090 it still not profitable to mine even the power cost is totally free it would take 5yrs before you get the ROI so it's a waste of time doing it for the long run unless there's a new coin that is profitable to mine or unless if you get this GPU and power for free.

Today it's not profitable but we don't know the future and maybe this coming altcoin season we can see high profit changes once altcoins are starting to be bullish not today maybe next year.
It doesn't mean you need to start mining today but wait for the upcoming altcoin season.

Is mining with 4090 still profitable?
if i have 30 RTX4090,What should I mine?

The RTX4090 graphics card is very hot and consumes a lot of power.
For these video cards, you need to have 15 kilowatts per hour of free power to provide your rigs with good cooling.
I don’t know if mining with a profit of a dollar per day at 5 cents per kilowatt is profitable for you.

In my opinion this is not a wise investment if the video card costs $2000 and will pay off in 2000 days or 6 years.
And you also have to take into account the cost of additional equipment.
And with all the desire for mining you have to take into account that these are very hot and problematic video cards that will not work for years without maintenance.
I blew the dust off my 5600 xt graphics cards once every year or 2, and 30 RTX4090 graphics cards will give a miner a lot of problems.
