Scrypt mining on GPUs is not profitable for last 4-5 months and only way to make ROI was to mine the newly launched coins and sell them on exchange faster. But there is shortage of good coin releases lately and ROI on GPU is much more difficult.

Sometimes it is better to wait for pump and then sell all coins. Also I was trying with renting huge amounts of power via nicehash so I made instamine and have a lot of coins at the beggining.

That's why it's better to mine cpu only coins. GPU mining has no profit at all.

GPUs can not only mine Scrypt. There are many other algos out there.

If you mine coins based on other algos on gpu it would be still unprofitable, IMO

I assume you're talking about scrypt rate only as a measure of power.
There's really no point in mining scrypt since half of this year (very conservatively) as far as I'm concerned.

Since most of us have stopped GPU mining due to no profit and few are running with expectation with coin values go high...

Can we assume that this is the least it can go as far as the GPU mining goes because from last 1 month btc per day from GPU are not decreasing ..its 0.0022 BTC per day for 1 MH/s in scrypt.

Can it go further down?

Definitely going to drop, more and more manufacturer is shipping their scrypt asic and the difficulty is going up...

I believe it would go down further after more asic ship their product.

Update: I am not saying for scrypt...what i meant is lets say you have 1 r9 280x so how much you can earn per day today with any algo..
