I'm trying to build a gpu mining rig with 12 GTX 1060s and want to use a server PSU to power the GPUs and risers. I found this breakout board which should have enough slots to power the risers and GPUs if I get two.
I was going to get this 1000W power supply: https://www.ebay.com/itm/182995802417 which says that is a DPS 800GB A (model?) because the breakout board says that it supports it.

I would much rather get this power supply: https://www.ebay.com/itm/643933-001-643956-101-HP-1200W-Common-Slot-Platinum-Plus-Hot-Plug-Power-Supply/263417725924?epid=1604523681&hash=item3d54eb83e4:g:pGgAAOSwSdZaRVPc

The breakout board doesn't say that it supports DL380, however I thought that the DL 380 server power supplies were also common slot so I should be able to put the breakout board on it. My question is will this work or should I go with the DPS 800 GB A power supply and in general can I use this breakout board with the HP Proliant power supplies?

Just looking for help so I don't get burned (I already accidentally bought 2 power supplies that I'll have to return and pay shipping for).
Thanks in advance for sharing your insight and expertise
