I like ABC. PPS is definitely the way to go if you like consistency.

Is there currently a free GPU mining pool I could join?

Thanks!

+1 to Slush for me as well. It's the right size and the fees are reasonable.

The larger mining pools are a bit too expensive, and the smaller pools don't find blocks often enough for my liking.

I would say go with Slush. His price is very reasonable and i have had zero issues.

What do you mean by "free?"  None of them require any payment upfront from you.  Both Slush's and BitPenny's pools only charge a commission once you've contributed some mining effort.  I think this is entirely reasonable.  Slush said he plans to go back to allowing free mining once he gets his bandwidth issues sorted out.
