Sure thing too much overclocking can make a reboot, or blue screen , i ve done so many times.

Got the same problem, (miner begin to hang then reboot), one of the graphic card was faulty, (no reason), and was making the PC reboot.

You should maybe uninstall graphic drivers with DDU (in safe more), then reinstall.

And if it's continue..

And maybe check (if you got one), a new power supply, to be sure the power supply is not involved.

And you should make too a file system checking (sfc /scannow) in "cmd"

And at last, make a new fresh OS install

Given that OP is already only testing with one (1) GPU, and also before trying jillscarborough's suggestion to reinstall drivers, first make sure that you are not overclocking the GPU too much. Can you share your Claymore config file as well?

I had an experience before where i forgot to change overclock settings and was using RX580 config for my RX470s. It crashed every time i started the miner until i fixed the config file because the RX470 could only do 1100/2000 before crashing but the RX580 config was set to 1150/2100 (core/mem clock).

Maybe your power supply is the cause of your system reboot ?

OP has been testing the rig with one card plugged, I think that isn't a power issue, but who knows. That's more like a driver issue.

The physical issue also possible, such as risers isn't right connected. Just check all thing that may possible.

I've checked the update history and there isn't any thing listed there.

I've also updated my post with the full setup!

That's better

Have you tried reinstalling your driver? Clean it first using DDU then reinstall the driver with the current setup (one card plugged).

I've just checked Windows Update is disabled and no driver should be updated either.]

Anyone knows what's this due to and how do I resolve it? Any guidance are sincerely welcomed!  Smiley

Hi,

I've checked the update history and there isn't any thing listed there.

Try physically disconnect all your cards, then connect only one and start mining.
If it crashes try use other slot if crash repeat, reinstall OS, then add one by one cards and check mining

I've tried disconnecting all my cards and connect only one.

The rig either crash and restart instantly or after mining a while.

Thanks!

Hello,

I'm facing some issues with my GPU miner running 580s. It has 10 cards running on 2 PSU. It was working fine until it crashed 2 days ago. Now the rig restarts itself whenever I start Claymore miner. It behaves normally when the miner isn't started. I have also tried starting the Miner with just 1 card and it gives the same issue too.
