Hashrate of Graphics Cards at https://miningchamp.com/

Hey, there mate thank you for this useful link you've shared. I really want to know what is the good, efficient and also profitable GPU's that I can use, I am planning to set my own rig soon but only for small time mining, Seems my personal GPU 750 Ti is not there listed.

Folding on a GPU requires a lot of input from and processing by the CPU, a lot of bandwidth between the CPU and GPU, and is heavy on floating point work.
Mining is generally VERY low bandwidth, requires very little CPU support, and is 100% integer operations.

The rest is all fiddly bits. 9-)

How is mining with GPU differ from folding with GPU?  Thank you for explaining.

Well it's time for me to fly ,thanks to all that gave some pointers if anyone is interested i will post my findings. As for my friend his 4 rx580 cards arrived safe and sound in the uk at a total cost (cards & shipping ) $820 a bit more than the original $150 each but still much better than anywhere here.

That is very very cheap.

I spent £250 on 1 = £1000 on 4 = $1400.
About 55-60% of UK RRP.

I might fly over too!

the best gpu ever, personaly i prefered RX5**and RX 4** is the best grafic card and profite
100% depends on what you are mining. My 1080's(each) will mine more the $$ than 2 RX5870 or 580s mine and costs less than 2 RX570s or 580s so its not econimally intelligent to buy 2 rx anything over a 1080 UNLESS you have to mine a specific AMD friendly algo for whatever reason.

It appears at this time based on price/performance/hashrate the best bang is the RX 570 (with only one condition, to be from Sapphire, Pulse or Nitro+ it's no important) as they are around 320-350 EURO  Sapphire Pulse dual fan here in Italy, in some other countries they maybe cheap , and they can easily reach the hashrate of 30 Mhash the Pulse version and 31.xx Mhash the Nitro+ version. Of course the Nitro+ costs a bit more.

Other than the Aorus "Thunderbolt Box" models and that MSI blower model 1070 ti with the VERY POOR cooling, anything 1070 and up listed at Newegg BY NEWEGG has been selling out very quickly.
There have been several RX 570/580 models that have been listed for 2-3 days before they sell out though, and usually at least a half dozen "newegg" sales listings on those at any given point the last 2 weeks.

Availability does seem to be showing a SLIGHT improvement, but pricing is still high probably at least partly due to the RAM shortage/pricing issue.

This week there has been an obvious delivery of GPU's into the United States.  Many brands, models are available and many of them are substantially lower in price (for the circumstances anyway).  Most deals Ive seen are at newegg.  I just bought a MSI 1080 for $619 and i get a $10 rebate on top of that.  Bought Wed this week.  Many RX series cards are available way more often than ive seen in the previous couple weeks or so.  Its going to get worse again very soon with BTC hanging out in the $11,000 range and much speculation that it will only climb this month reaching 15k plus. We shall see and im all for it.  I like $$$.

My free advice....Buy as many GPUs as you can afford and get your hands on.  But be smart and dont pay too much for them.  In other words dont pay $300 for a 1050 TI. Pay $235 or less.  Dont pay $999 for a 1080.  Pay under $700.  The deals are there....just have to be quick and know what your limit for each model should be.

But seems like there is a new gpu batch coming right now, here in Switzerland some shops got stock back again and last week everything was still sold out. However you got still the limitation of 2 cards per account and prices are high.

HI i'm off to taiwan shortly and i will be looking at buying some gigabyte gpu's to build myself some rigs . anyone suggest the best cards to buy for mining altcoins.
With the existing deficit, now you need to take any GPU that allows you to extract cryptocurrencies. But I doubt you'll find them cheaper. All manufacturers GPU is now pre-loaded contracts. All capacities are involved in maintenance of miners. Therefore, the deficit of GPU is observed in all countries.

Unless you like replacing fans, avoid Gigabyte other than the Aorus models.

Also, the Ampere rumor appears to be from a single source that has been repeated a few times, and conflicts with the STATEMENT from TSMC back in October that they were going to be shifting production from Pascal TO VOLTA GPUs around the end of the year.

I suspect there WILL be stock available for Volta when they're released, given how much production lead time exists, but I suspect that pent-up demand will chew through that stock in a hurry.

lol the new cards aren't even going to be available.  once they are released, they will sellout and then be available for 1500+.  If you think differently in a world where 1070s are selling for 700+, you are in for a rude awakening.
You are contradicting yourself.  For the new cards to sellout they have to be available and SOMEONE has to buy them. WTF, Over.

If you could find RX580 or RX570 for a good price then off to go with this for starters but if you have a higher budget for GPUs then go for RX Vega 64/56 or GTX 1080ti/1080/1070ti/1070. If you really want it cheap you could go 1050ti/1050 or RX 560.

yea dont buy last gen cards right now, with new gen cards coming out this year buying 10 series nvidia cards is the better play, in terms of ability to recoup investment by selling the hardware down the line.

The market for 980ti's will die completely with the release of next gen cards when there is a large supply of used 10 series cards being sold.

Right now best play is to buy any 10 series GPUs at or below MSRP, should make decent ROI.

(i.e. 1080ti's at or below 700$usd).

I have to disagree but there are qualifying limitations to my disagreement.  The main factor being money.  If someone has the PCIE slots available in a rig(s) then buy anything they can afford. Fill them up and have them earning money NOW until the next generation cards come.  Then when the 10 series prices come down ....If the nextgen cards cause that to happen once released buy those and dumps the 9 series on ebay for whatever they bring BUT if you have the PCIE space available after buying 10 series then use the 9's too. FK it....build a rig just for the 9 series cards. The more rigs/cards running the more money you are earning daily.

What about your budget ?
the best is 1080TI but 1070 is also good.
Red 56th vegas also great
For small budget for now good modded RX550 cards for mining cryptonight and eth forks
i have a large budget and want to get the best possible cards ,i just love the mining aspect of crytpo any end profit is a bonus
Then what about wait and buy new ASIC F3 on GDDR3 memory, if you love only GPU mining rigs then create from 1080TI and VEGA 56/64
Buying a vega 56 or 64 is false economy.  They do not produce enough for what they cost.  The only thing they are good for is if someone has limitations to the amount of cards they can support with motherboard(s) or power supplies.  In those cases stuff your rig(s) with Vega 56/64.....if you have the money for those AND have limitations making you have to go that route.

Well, right off the bat the 9xx cards are crippled for Eth mining so theres that....

How long you mining with gigabyte, and what brand your compared. example, if you have R9 290 Gigabyte and R9 290 MSI or Sapphire then mining on ETH. and you can see frequency the temperature from those GPUs.

I can buy these for 530 EUR. But, I wnat to know what I can mine with it? Can I mine multiple curencies or ETH only and also I want to know amount of Mhs? 6 GPU rig is going to cost me around 3.5K EUR... Thanks!
You can mine more coins with them, e.g Monereo, ZEC, ETC, you can dual mine as well (with Decred, Sia coin, Verge, ...) and so on. The Hashrate of a RX580 is around 30 to 32mH/s for ETH depending on the brand and the memory. 530€ is a little expensive. Not sure which country you are from. I bought mine in the Netherlands for 300 to 350€. So you might do a trip there as it could save you some.

That is exactly what interested me, multicurency mining and dual. Smiley Can you give me some links of those stores? In Netherland, Germany or somewhere else in Europe... I'm from Serbia. Thanks again! Smiley

PS:

What about this GPU?

AMD Radeon RX580 Sapphire NITRO+ 8GB GDDR5, 2xHDMI/2xDP/256bit/11265-01-20G

These are good GPU's. Mine run very stable (32mH/s for ETH). They do use quite some power. So depending on the power cost you might go for an 570. Not sure what their hashrate is.

If you've got the knowledge to steal GPUs from a container you probably also know how much they cost, 100% scam as you said. They're probably not even stolen and it's just a plain scam.

No shortage of cards over there? Weird, one would think the shortage effected the whole supply chain. Not only the end of it  Grin You can get good prices, and depending on your electricity cost, its either worth it or it is not.
gigsbyte factory is in taipai ,my friend was there 3 weeks ago and said they are on sale everywhere .he bought 8 rx 580 for $150 each

gtfo, if I were to find a place where they are $150 each, I'd sell my house and become a video card smuggler

Better start stretching that cavity and sphincter so they don't fall out  Grin
