Thanks for replies. My temps are fine at 60c.

Also I'm using simple miner. This is my 4th rig and I've never experienced this. All my others seen fine. Any other ideas that I can check?

I would first think it's a power problem.

1) Check 12 volt under load with a multimeter and see if it sags under 11.88 volts.  If so, you are probably overloading your power supply and need a bigger better one.
2)  If it's AMD, then undervolt the GPU core by 100mV.  Increase powerlimit.

Second, make sure pool ping times are 200ms or below, and a constant connection.  Check your gpu usage % in gpu-z or a CPUID HWMONITOR software.  I am assuming you are running windows.  If gpu usage % is fluctuating, it may be due to the pool not giving you enough work fast enough.  You can fix this by increasing the share difficulty with your pool.  Most of them do this automatically with VARDIFF when you are connected to their VARDIFF port or if they always use VARDIFF.  Sometimes it doesn't adjust appropriately to your hashrate.

There are special programs which allow you to monitor the temperature and adjust the fan speed but it seems to me that that's not the reason. Perhaps you have a RAM problem. It happened to me when I put little memory and while the computer was trying to update or save settings in the cloud mining fell and rose again.

Hi All,

I have a really odd problem.  I have 4 cards, and when they're separated, they mine fine.

When I put them into the case next to each other, the hash rate starts fluctuating on cards from 25 to 14 to 10, and back up and down.

Any one have an idea why this might be?

I'm not sure what else it can be and it's extremely frustrating.  Any ideas would be appreciated.
