The portfolio looks good. I want to suggest you to invest in anonymous coins. I think anonymous coins are the future with Bitcoin. For example, DeepOnion. If you take a look of the project you will see that the dev is working a lot to create new features (DeepSend, DeepVault, etc.).
And there exists more plans to create more features and big exchanges. Another good feature is that you can stake if you hold your coins in your wallet. It´s a good option to get big rewards.
That´s why I believe DeepOnion is a good choice to invest. Also the price is really cheap right now.

All of these 3 altcoins you mentioned are good for long term investment and I highly suggest them too.. Holding some of this in my portfolio also I'll add strat in the list though because I also believe in this coin.

If I had to add another one, I'd probably go with Aragon. Low price at the moment, and a lot of potential.
I also added Ark, Ethereum and Ripple to my portfolio. Waves is still a strong hold for months now. I am not going to sell my bags, I will wait for the long run. Aragon was also a coin that I want to buy, but I am not in yet. Lets see what the next days will bring us.

Your portfolio has no masternode coins I recognise (there might be some I don't know about yet) - But I think these are worth buying and hodling because of the passive income potential (and they are currently greatly undervalued in my opinion)

Buy more BTC indeed. Stake some of your coins. Eg. NEO is extremely easy to stake.

Good diversification of coins but I agree that you should get more Bitcoin. ATM, I will invest the $5000 in LTC, OMG, Ark,Verge and Monetha. I suggest adding Monero to your portfolio.

Buying more btc sounds good to me. Holding ltc, ripple, waves is also great. In general, I think you might want to invest in Dash, the coin is jumping and it's offering anonymity. Holding IOTA is great, perhaps you should buy some more, as it's cheap. I would also recommend to buy Blackmoon, it's new but just look at their videos and team to realize that's not something you want to miss. Thoughts?

It's a healthy diversification , my portfolio has a heavy position in the "Safer" coins the blue chips if I may call them that. Then about 20-30% in the small market cap alt coins. So from what I see with your portfolio looks like pretty decent balance, only time will tell how it'll turn out.

Hi, Looks like a good portfolio distribution. What did you base your analysis on? how long are you trading for? Do you have any experience in other online-trading? (like stocks, fx, futures?)
I would recommend some privacy coins that allow staking that provides passive income such as Cloak or Deep Onion.
You can add some 0x project. it has very big potantial for future.
i'm totally sure the must have at these price are definitely 0x (ZRX), Aragon (ANT) and SHIFT, i'm also bullish on request network but i discovered it too lato so couldn't get my opportunity on the whitelist.
However check 0x, there's an incredible numbers of projects built on it, it means that as soon as these project will be ready ZRX will fly really higher.

Music and multimedia (think youtube for crypto) are going to explode on the blockchain -- it's only a matter of time. And with governments missing out on the blockchain profits, being (more) anonymous is going to be a requirement for a lot of folks in the near future.
With that being said, I would suggest adding the following:
FLO - blockchain for Alexandria.io project. It looks amazing.
MUSIC - Musicoin.org
Both the above projects are in a functioning BETA phase. Check them out and I guarantee you will be impressed.
For your anonymous coin, I will suggest the obvious. DeepOnion of course.

hi Bruce. i think you are missing a privacy-oriented coin. you have XVG which is good, but not sure it can be considered an all-round privacy token. i would add at least one between ZEC and XMR, and at least one among ZEN, XZC, CLOAK and ONION. good luck!

Personally I would increase your holdings of Waves, with that split of a portfolio you have too much in some and not enough in others.
If you have 5k to invest into 5 more coins, definitely buy 200 more waves, the roadmap for the coming year looks immense!

Exactly what i was thinking, putting exact amounts can be risky. Plus ever thought about investing in GAS. If you invested in ethereum than a little bit GAS can't do any harm. Both are needed so a jump in ethereum is a jump in GAS
