I've been with it every since I found it - fills my need for coins AND helping a cause. It had a rough start since it's a work in progress but the bad bumps are pass and it's been progressing well lately with the features the dev's been working on for it Smiley

Try it and see how it goes. I have been mining it for a while now. Here is the link for team Gridcoin: http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/team/viewTeamInfo.do?teamId=BBNGDQS832

Yes, do mine this coin.  It is a great coin that helps out with science.  The dev team has some great ideas to get the most science from mining

So this is my Newb post.... was wondering what everyone thinks about this coin.  I am new to mining and was looking for something that actually had some real world benefit.  I like the idea that it forces you devote some cpu to crunching research jobs.  I have actually been running BOINC on some servers and desktops for a while now, and am trying to decide whether to switch my desktop rig with a couple of 280x's over to GRC.  Any thoughts?
