why no blade? you can't get more than from a G-Blade!!! for the same price you can get double the hashpower. with the current price from www.monster-asic.com or www.mininghardware-resell.org maybe even more.

Maybe he wants to invest less and since its an introductory purchase then it should be small.
Gridseeds are low power low profitability with difficulty changing all the time
so get what lower price you can.

I guess it is very hard to break even by buying from intermediary traders who all want to make profit!
I just purchased 50 MH/s from https://genesis-mining.com which currently has the best prices for scrypt hashpower. Also there is no intermediary, no accessories you have to buy, no customs and so on...
I am very happy so far!

G-Blade mine only scrypt based coins.
Gridseed Units mine both SHA256 (Bitcoin) and Scrypt (DOGE), it's less powerfull than a G-Blade, but it's a combo if you like this term.

Sha256 mining is worthless in gridseed. Also power hungry.
Don't count on that front.

they are almost obsolete with new ones coming in soon, if you're set in buying one look for it in the $40 range, some used to sell for 59 bucks.

Best guess at current rates with current hardware: There is absolutely no hardware that is guaranteed to even return to you as much coin as it cost you to buy.

Nobody knows, profitability is unpredictable.  Probably not anything you'll find somebody selling for
