This is very risky for anyone that buys this project as well as for all the future users that may use this service. I'd recommend working on your project and sticking it out.
Not that you'd do it, but if you guys are bad apples, you could retain some loophole that leaked private keys to your existing developers. Unless your wallet is open source, which I doubt it is, and can be independently audited, no one should engage in this deal.
