Jhon McAffe is a genius, I do not think all the bad news about McAffe is true. He is a public figure, a rich man, whatever he does will be highlighted by the media.

John McAfee isn’t fooling anyone. In a documentary profile filled with damning evidence, there’s something self-incriminating in McAfee’s “You probably read about me” response to being arrested by police, all caught on squad car dashcams.
McAfee described the documentary as fiction, and four of McAfee's associates from Belize alleged that documentary producers mislead them about their motives and coerced them into filming interviews.
McAfee became a multi-millionaire after creating a prominent antivirus software, and later relocated to Belize. In April 2012, national police raided McAfee's estate based on suspicions of drug manufacture or trafficking. Later that year McAfee's neighbor Greg Faull was murdered and McAfee went into hiding before crossing the border to Guatemala and being deported back to the United States. The documentary suggests that McAfee was involved in the murder due to a feud between himself and Faull over McAfee's dogs. McAfee was never charged with any crime in Belize.
