Delegation is a process of staking BIP to a delegator and thus participating in proof-of-stake consensus algorithm.
- Are my funds safe when I delegate?
Yes. Your BIPs never leave your wallet when you delegate them to Zen. At its essence delegation is just giving a permission to stake for you. So, the security of your funds is guaranteed by Minter blockchain.
- Do you lock my funds?
Yes. While delegated, your funds are locked for ~30 days by Minter blockchain mechanism. You can unbond them at any time.
- How much can I earn?
Earnings depend on lots of variables, however the average annual return is about 50%. Please note, that payouts are made in BIP.
