"i have EVGA 1070 with samsung memory OC to + 100 core and +550 memory which should be totally fine"
  • Try to mine ETH without overclocking the card , let see your system going to get blue screen/crashes or not ...
  • If no blue screen/crashes without overclocking , start fine tuning your cards slowly, step by step
  • Use windows 10 64bit for 4+ crad setup
You overclocking might working fine with lbry or another  virtual currency , but might need lower overclocking settings for ETH.

When you are asking for help , please give us a more specific information about your full setup Smiley incl Motherboard/mem/cpu/psu using risers or not , if yes are they powered or not , windows version ,what nvidia driver installed on your system ...

What's the power drain when mining LBRY or other coins compared to ETH, and what power supply are you using ?
Explaining your whole setup would help determine the problem also.

Very very strange mate. Could you provide us the temperature they're running at ? That's the only missing value I think. Also, do they have a modded bios ?

Hello,

my rig (5x1070) always crashes when i start to mine Ethereum. It crashes randomly after 1 - 4 hours, i have EVGA 1070 with samsung memory OC to + 100 core and +550 memory which should be totally fine, but the computer shuts down completely, doesnt even restart. When i mine LBRY or other coins it works fine. Doesnt the memory get too hot when overclocked, because there is no temperature chip on the memory.

Here is the problem signature that i get.

Problem signature:
  Problem Event Name:   BlueScreen
  OS Version:   6.1.7601.2.1.0.768.3
  Locale ID:   1033

Additional information about the problem:
