Made a couple of adjustments:
Those 1660TI are looking really, really good...

And while some get better results at lower PL ratings, over a longer average, with my rigs, I find these numbers close to my averages - on the GPUs I have, 1070, 1070TI and 1660TI.

And yes, tuning your rigs can gain you 5-10% improvement on ROI. Also, I strongly recommend looking at your Electric bill. I live in Chicago and changed from Com Ed's "fixed rate" to "daily live pricing" and over the past year have saved about 16% - literately thousands of dollars.

what oc setting are you using?

Horrible ones.

Those stats are not optimized for power savings in bear market.  190 watt for 2080 rtx is way too high to be running in a bear market.  Im only using 150 watts tops for 2080 rtx and the 2080 numbers look much better compared to other cards  when goal is max efficiency and when your power rate is above 8 cents.

Maybe his goal is max roi with his power rate of 8 cents which is pretty good  if you dont have industrial electric rates and your a home miner/colo miner

Well,
If you don't like my Hashrates, change them, it's just math. You're reply is kind of dickish Wink.

I get a little better than the +7% over Whattomine hashrates with my 30+ GPUs. But I mostly have 1070TIs and 1070s. The fine tuning for your realized hashrates is up to you. I just use this to gauge the current market ROI. I'm not running any 2080s so, you know better. I just used what WHattomine had for power ratings.

I use it to see what prices I'm willing to pay for a GPU. So when I see a deal like a 1660TI on sale for sub $250 (including tax), I bought it. The same for the EVGA B-stock 2060 at $300, (bought 2). The real ROI will depend on what happens to the future price of Crypto. Still the worksheet shows me which GPUs to be looking at.

Use it or don't. Just a MY way of looking at current ROI.

Sing it with me,
Money, money, money, moonneeyy...

Mining is still going strong. Last month all I heard was mining is for losers... Well I was raking in the RVN at those low diff rates, thousands of RVN a day. And then the price tripled - now I'm crying all the way to the bank... So what happens when BTC hits new highs? You'll wish you were mining today.

Get out there and buy a couple of 1660TIs. I just took some profits and bought two EVGA 2060 B stock. Great deal at $300.

who is so dumb right now to be mining at current prices?

People that think that making money is a good idea.
Because some people aren't just about making money some of us are here to help push the chain because we believe in crypto and the whole reason mining has shitty returns is because people thought they where going to strike it rich mining and skyrocketed the difficulty and now those same people are bitching about profits well the miners who have been here for years get shafted but mine because its more to us than money
What happens if those are always getting minus on its fund caused by mine coin? is it worth for them all? besides they are wanna help to secure the blockchain but i can't deny if they are all wanna earn easy money from mining but mining has already dominated by big miners

It costs about 2060 and works a little worse then 2060. The best way in such price range to buy 2060. 1660 just for fun, if u want to spent money, or to test and play games later.

I have a 1660 and 1660 ti running and they are pretty close on RVN and MTP.  But I can't get grin to  run well its half of my 1070s or eth to run at all.  I running simpleos so I'll have to give windows a shot when I have some time.

MTP 1.7mh at 75w

Impressive. I get 3.5 mh at 150watt for 2080 rtx.  1660 ti sounds more cost effective

Pricing wise 1660ti is cheaper than I bought 1070 ti's. Looking at a moderate rack of 4-6 cards with ROI at 3-4 months per card in this market so close to 400 days using off hand, brainless math at 0.10USD kw/h.

Need to get the house on solar.

No experience with them yet but word is they're on part with 1070 hash rates. Sadly with MAP even the distributor we use can sell at lower cost but you can buy more than a couple if available from us. Though 6gb is something to consider for future use imo.

The only difference is that if you have in mind to mine memory intensive algorithms the Gddr6 after a few months the miners will be better and maybe in a near to medium term future you can squeeze more from a Gddr6 card so if I had extra money I would buy the 1660 ti.

Too expensive for mining and Im sure the speed looks the same as gtx 1070 or nearly gtx 1060.
I suggest you much better to don't buy this until the price goes down.

Looks like the 1660 non ti has a faster memory speed at 2000mhz/1660nonti x 1500mhz/1660 ti, anyone to share common coins hashrate?

Plain 1660 is GDDR5 and the Ti version is DDR6.  1660 also has slightly higher core clock stock, but they both max out the same core clock when OC'd.

Ya I'm not sold quite yet on the 1660 ti. I will stick with 2080 rtx as I'm getting 7.35 graphs at 155 watt for grin. 2080 rtx is more efficient on most algos besides eth.

2080 is more future proof with 8 gb. 2080 will have good resell value do to raytrace for gaming.

I also feel it's late to mine eth. The early eth miners got all the meat and I don't want to mine their scraps.

I guess one needs to compare the cards both in terms of hash per dollar and hash per watt.
Obviously nowadays efficiency is even more important so it might be worth investing in the most efficient setup rather than the outright most powerful. But then again with these levels of profitability question remains whether you should invest at all... Grin

Gainward GTX1660Ti 6GB Pegasus in DaggerHashimoto: 30.4 MH at 72 Watts ... Power at 60% and MemClock +1150.
When I raise the Memory Clock over that, the Hashrate falls ... don't know why. But that is a pretty amazing Hashrate for 72 Watts !

Absolutely!  These are very efficient cards!  I'm going to switch my rig over to windows on saturday when I get the time because SMOS won't recognize the 4h or 5th card.  I have 5 now and 2 more being delivered tomorrow.  I bought 2 of the 8 GPU rig frames on amazon when they were $20 shipped so I'm building out two more rigs and using these cards for them.  Getting 16-17 Mhs on Raven right now at 75W in SMOS

Messed around a little in SMOS with the card.  I have the Gigabyte Windforce edition.

Out of the box

Grin : 3.2-3.3 gps

Raven - 18-22mhs

Beam - couldn't get miner to run in SMOS.  Connection error...same config that I use on my 1070 rigs and its fine.  May have something to do with being recognized as a Gigabyte Graphics device.  Need to update the drivers in SMOS somehow.  Never did it so not sure how.  Going to install windows either tonight or tomorrow and play around some more.

We have hashrate for 1660ti it is 29.8mh/s on eth with claymore. I think is the same like 1070 but with 20w less power use. Not bad, but with 6gb memory. I think 2070 heva very good deals now for 400-400€ and its better with 40mh/s hashrate.

Ty bro the hashrate its the same like rtx 2080

Bminer now uses approx. 5GB of memory, so it should work with memory available.  My 1060 6gb have no problem with Grin.

Do you guys think the 6GB memory will have any limitations compared to a 1070 with 8GB?
It won't work mining with grin coin if you are using generic miner it mostly they accept cards higher than 6gb so not sure if it's worth it to mine with this card.

This card was introduce on crypto blog but no hashrate records yet.

Let see to other miners review about this card if it's worth it to buy but since it's cheaper than gtx 1070 maybe its worth it to try.

I can mine grin on my 1060 6gb with bminer.

Going that it's has similar bus of 2060 but slightly slower GDDR6 memory (12Ghz vs 14Ghz) I'd say it will do about 25~mh/s in ETH maybe 30mh/s if you can get good memory OCs. I'm more interested in Core algo's such as RVN with this card as it's only a 120w TDP but compares to GTX1070. Could mean a great Hash/watt ratio.

Doing some rough payback numbers:

Say with shipping and handling: $300/card

a) 90 day net revenue needed:   $3.33/day per card

b) 180 day net revenue needed: $1.66/day per card

c) 1 year daily net revenue needed: 0.82/day per card

As of today, the best on WTM is the 2080ti on RVN @ almost $1/day gross

I'd be very interested in proper hashrate tests of this card - it could be a very good bang for the buck, almost Polaris-style. Talking efficiency, especially. Would consider building a small rig or two of these little guys if they managed to get decent hashrates.

EDIT: I'm not talking about Ethash, nobody's interested in that anymore!  Cheesy

Yes they are needed badly Smiley But I think they are around 1070 hashrates? But with slightly lower power usage.

That would be safe to assume.  Specs are way better than a 1060 and gaming benchmarks have it even with a 1070 and sometimes coming close to 2060 in certain games.
