Of course, the decision which wallet to use is up to you.
There are a lot of wallets on the market, but few of them are absolutely safe to use, remember the news about NiceHash, which was hacked recently. Our app instead guarantees you that only you will have an access to managing your funds, as we do not store users private key. What is more, Guarda was approved by Zcash Foundation board and we have already started to develop Zcash opensource library and mobile app, it will be available on the market asap (for more information https://z.cash.foundation/blog/grant-awards/).

I'm pretty skeptical about new wallets. Let their enthusiasm check their reliability. And after some time, collecting statistics - I can make a decision.

Honestly never heard this wallet so if you wanted to base with your coins better to stay away.. and i think you are just promoting that wallet..
If you wanted to use a btg wallet i think better to use ledger nano or trezor if you are looking for safe wallet.
Also coinomi is recommended that i know your BTGwill be safe and other coins.

Hey everybody!
I am representing Guarda team. Unfortunately, we have seen this topic too late, but we certainly couldn't avoid getting involved.
We are absolutely legit wallet app. We have already made four light wallets for our users: Ethereum, Ethereum Classic, Bitcoin and Bitcoin Gold wallets. We are the partner of BTG foundation, that's why we are mentioned on their website as the wallet to use for BTG. As a light wallet, we are able to provide high security for our clients, we do not store users private keys and do not have access to the funds. We always advise everybody to backup private keys by yourselves and never trust your funds to the third party.

Yeah i agree with the other guys, dont trust in this wallet service for your bitcoin gold because you are probably going to get scammed by this, maybe this wallet is legit, but probably the link is a pishing site, it happens everytime that there is a fork, not just with bitcoins, it happens with the other altcoins that are going to have a hard fork too.
Just hold your coins on your wallet, they are going to give you your btg sooner or later, because the same happened with bch only that it took more than a week to people to receive their bch in polo or bittrex as an example.

Dont use this wallet, there has been a lot of people scammed by this way on August 1nd (on the first fork) people were tried to be redirected to a phising site or a confusing site of a wallet for bitcoin cash, maybe this is just a new version of a scammy wallet for bitcoingold.
So stay away from this, hold your coins on your wallet, exchange, or whenever you have them, you will receive your bitcoin goldies anyway, in every wallet you have them.

Although this wallet is recommended by the official website, I agree with you. Because there are some exchanges on the official website I don't trust them. For now better to keep Bitcoins in an address which we know its private key and wait for more secure wallets.

I've always been confused with people like you, who do the good ole' have any of you heard about this just to get views and stuff to it? No one is going to download it based on what you said. You're trying to get people scammed, it's simple and you should be painted in FULL RED for doing something like this, even if it isn't a scam.

Bitcoin Gold is also shit, so yeah.

OP is just trying to find about the wallet listed for Bitcoin gold on their site and I really don't know why you are attacking him or wanting to paint him red. Bitcoin Gold has listed some of the exchanges and wallet supporting them on their website http://btcgpu.org and Guarda wallet is the only wallet mentioned on their site.

Hopefully, more wallets will come out to support it before or after the fork, but as it is now, except for anyone who will want to make use of some of the shitty exchange listed on their site, that wallet seems like the only available one now which is even a mobile wallet for Android and IOS. Still watching how event unfolds within 3 days when it forks.

Hey!
Have any of you heard of Guarda wallet (download it at own risk, I haven't used it and not sure it is safe: https://guarda.co/)? It is only wallet mentioned on Bitcoin Gold website btcgpu.org
But apparently it supports only Eth. So I don't really get, how can it support BTG. And seems it has just popped out of nowhere in Sept 2017.
Question is: did any of you used this wallet? Do you think it is safe to use it?
