Thanks. Do it! Imagine if everybody did. The more people turned onto bitcoins, the higher the demand and the more they're worth. All about the bottom line. Wondering what do you plan to achieve by doing that? A free anonymous donation?
Personally, I never look at what's written on bills. Especially $1s. My primary use for them is stripper tips. And I doubt they accept QR codes.
True, there is a lot of writing on $1 bills. But I have never seen a QR code on one. What am I trying to achieve? I guess turning more people onto bitcoin. And I was bored and it sounded like a good idea. Personally, I never look at what's written on bills. Especially $1s. My primary use for them is stripper tips. And I doubt they accept QR codes.

I printed out a QR code (on address label paper) of a key I generated on bitaddress. I sent .1 Bitcoins to that address. I put the QR code (remember its sticky) on a $1 Dollar bill, with a note that said "redeem at MtGox.com, learn more at bitcoinme.com". Finally-you guessed it-I spent the bill.
