Those CoinTerras are ~1.4-1.5TH/s, and use about 1850W. That's really pushing it for a 15A breaker, so I'd say that's about your max.

if you want to be sure that the breaker does not switch off at any time or cables get overheated you should calculate it this way
0.8*15*110= 1320W
not sure if you use 110V or 120V in US

I have 10A breakers to all outlets so for me it makes
0.8*10*230= 1840W and peak 2300W
luckily I have 2,5mm2 cables to all outlets so I can change the breakers to 16A

Yeah I said a 15A breaker, but I was thinking 20A @ 110. My bad!

Anyone know of a good adapter to convert a 30 A 220v dryer connection in the USA to something usable for mining?

You could start with this:

Buy a dryer cord, an L6-30R plug, an electrical box and wire your own.

They are actually pulling 1950 W on 208V power.  110V is 3-5% less efficient.  There is no chance to run a Cointerra on a single 15A breaker.  Running one on a 20A 110V breaker will likely result in regular trips of the breaker.

@ ~1w/ghash at the wall, you are looking at probably ~1.5th per 15a breaker

What do you guys think... maybe 2 TH is going to be the maximum that folks can power off a typical USA 15 amp circuit?

How does this compare to other countries... what are the standards there?
