I wouldn't get it if this is the only reasons you want it. Finding paid throwaway emails should be easy. And you can always host one yourself and have infinite ones, right?

True, i just need clarification to prove ProtonMail and Tutanota aren't good options if you're looking for throwaway email from cost perspective.

Maybe everyone here have to try this one https://www.jetable.org

To avoid spam, jetable.org provides you with a temporary email address. As soon as it is created, all the emails sent to this address are forwarded to your actual email address.
Your antispam address will be deactivated after the lifespan you selected comes to its end.

I found another free disposable email provider which I believe is better and more secure than this one.

It's called 33mail.

You just register, put your real email and can create disposable emails that forward the messages to your real one. When you are sick of it or of the spam, you can just delete them. No one knows your real one and you stop being spammed.

For $0 you have: unlimited aliases and 10MB of bandwith per month. For just $1 month, you get 50MB, the possibility of using a custom domain and more.

Personally, I don't see many reasons to use disposable email address. I just have separate email address for less important signups and websites which don't have good reputation. It helps to protect my main email from spam.
Also, I doubt that's safe to use Yopmail email service because it's not protected with password. If someone have bad intentions, it's enough for him just to know your email address to make you more or less problems.

With the benefits you just have mentioned isn't creating a dedicated email for signing up websites you'll temporarily use a more convenient and practical way of avoiding using your primary email address? Creating an email just for signing and verifying accounts is just like having a disposable email, only difference is you won't have to jump to different websites just to access your account/s. Also it's the first time I'm hearing about email services asking for their user's numbers just to create an account maybe for having a 2fa you need one but for example Gmail is only asking for your name, desired username, and your birthday just to create an account. So there is really no inconvenience on creating a new email address from a reputable email service.

I use my own emails and domains so I manage myself any disposable email I create but there are free services like outlook, netcourrier, and yahoo that let you create the alias (usually 10)
The thing with Yopmail is there is no password, I discovered it while I got access to someone else mailbox lol, so be careful where you use such service (obviously not with discussion boards, a website with a member area, etc)

I would not agree that creating a new email address in Gmail takes too long (less than 5 minutes), and I'm sure I was never asked for a phone number or any verification there. Of course there are much better solutions to privacy/anonymity, but at the moment it is much more convenient for me to have one general e-mail, one for work and one for family and close friends.

It does ask a phone number sometimes if you created another email not long ago or if you have already too many emails linked to your IP

Both ProtonMail and Tutanota are good options, but their costs for more email address is quite high if you plan to use it as disposable email address. €9 / year per 5 addresses for ProtonMail and €12 / year per 20 addresses.

Can anyone clarify whether those service allow delete old email address and/or replace old email address with new ones?
I'm not sure about Tutanota but ProtonMail doesn't allow you to delete aliases.

Please note: Additional ProtonMail addresses can be disabled/enabled; however, they can not be deleted from your account unless you contact our support. These addresses will remain reserved as if it were your original address. They also count toward your address quota seen in your Dashboard no matter if they are enabled or disabled.

When we want to access some website, we must provide our email for sign up a new account. Usually we don't want to use our personal email to prevent from spam, phishing, IP Address, Information etc. It's why we should create another email address to sign up on each suspicious site. The problem is to create a new email address we must provide phone number and password for each email, this can spend many times to create 1 by 1 email address for not too useful website. So, to solve this case we can use disposable email.

I used disposable emails in the past, but then I decided to make one let's just say the real (permanent) email which I will use for all possible registrations on sites I do not trust too much. This generates quite a lot of spam, but most end up in a spam folder that automatically deletes it after 30 days, so I don't pay too much attention to it.

I would not agree that creating a new email address in Gmail takes too long (less than 5 minutes), and I'm sure I was never asked for a phone number or any verification there. We can get many disposable temporary email address from various sites like -

https://temp-mail.org/en/
https://www.guerrillamail.com/
https://tempail.com/en/
https://generator.email/ and many more.

Also, there is a Chrome extension to generate a temp email address - Extension

All these are temporary email addresses which will last for some time only.

Some websites like mailinator.com, Protonmail.com, tutanota.com which requires login but the email address will last for more time. If you need an email address for a long time then you can use these email generators.

I use disposable emails frequently. Any time I have to sign up to a new site or service I'll almost always do so under a disposable email first, and only after I'm sure I will continue to use the site will I sign up with one of my real email addresses. There are a couple of services I currently use, but they all run in to issues with being disallowed from some services, so if Yopmail can help address that, then I'll give it a shot.

Most other services like this only let you use the address for 10-20 minutes, and it is lost permanently once you close your browser session. I can see why having the same disposable address for a few days could be handy in some situations. Relevant to crypto, this could be a good service for people to use to sign up to air drops or other altcoin nonsense which frequently results in email addresses being sold and targeted with phishing.

Not your keys, not your coins!
Thrown-away emails give us a protective tool when we try a newborn site which does not have any history, and record for its legitimacy.

Building a good habit "Not use your main emails for newborn sites, using thrown-away emails, instead".

As others said, there is no reason to use yopmail for those purposes

Protonmail is a much better option, however you need a paid account to create multiple alias (which is really nice in this case)

Tutanota is a good option as well.

You can also use Protonmail or Tutanota to create a 'stronger' throwaway e-mail address if you need better privacy features.

I wouldn't recommend creating accounts you care about using this service.

Most people who're looking for services like this are not going to use it to create their Facebook account. But well, some people are too naive.

Protonmail (possibly Tutanota too) provides end-to-end encryption only in between two Protonmail users or end-to-outside encryption (if you send emails from Protonmail to Gmail for example) if you encrypt the mail with a password. I personally don't consider it a privacy mail provider. If you're using a throwaway mail for privacy and anonymity purposes, you'd want to go for hiding as much sensitive information about you as possible.

I wouldn't recommend creating accounts you care about using this service. Only accounts you need to use once and just for something that isn't important to you/doesn't require any personal information. I can go to the website and take ownership over your accounts by using your email, as it requires no password.

Yup, this email is used once for suspicious or not to useful website. Using this email for long time or personal account is very risky since doesn't have any verification and password. Many of users usually use their main email to sign up for any website, especially give away and bounties thread. They don't think twice before inputting their personal information. As we can see many phishing site want to get our information.

You can also use Protonmail or Tutanota to create a 'stronger' throwaway e-mail address if you need better privacy features.

Also, IP isn't protected by yopmail. You can use TOR with a disposable email service like Guerrilla if you're seeking anonymity.

Thank you for the suggestions buddy Smiley

WHAT IS A DISPOSABLE EMAIL?

Disposable email is a service that allows a registered user to receive email at a temporary address that expires after a certain time period elapses. Many online discussion forums, blogs and websites ask visitors to register before they can post comments, view premium content or download white papers. A disposable email account will allow the visitor to sign up and verify his registration without exposing his primary email account to spam. Yopmail is most advanced throwaway email service that helps you avoid spam and stay anonymous.

WHAT IS YOPMAIL?

The “YOP” in YOPMail stands for “Your Own Protection”, and that’s exactly what it is for Yopmail is an online free email service which enables you to create disposable \ Email Ids.
