Problem with these 2 sites is the low volume of activity, but at least it is a place where tokens can be traded. It is a useful guide, would be great if someone done the same thing for IDEX which some think is better than these 2 exchanges
Trade on IDEX is carried out with the coins that have passed listing. Tokens cannot be traded there. Otherwise there would be no problem selling tokens.  Smiley

The price in most cases is low in comparison with the price of ICO. Sometimes the same. I had a positive experience, I sold coins from airdrop and after listing on the exchange, the coins were twice cheaper.  Smiley
Yeah I know, I also had erc20 tokens in my myetherwallet and the price almost half dollar but when it's on exchange it'll drop but I thank you not because you said this but as a reminder. About the token price drop it always happen to almost all token that is going to be listed on an exchange site. My point is the tokens you have in your wallet, did you able to sell it and did someone buy your token even if it's not listed yet?. This is what I think that the buyer of your token might be an investor or the team from where you get it.

I hope that you would also add how to do it on Etherdelta because Etheredelta is much well-known exchange compared to Forkdelta and I'm just want to keep people safe.

Yes ED is much more known that forkdelta however since forkdelta came in, there are a lot more trade activities in forkdelta and it's also legit, btw. Just don't store your coins and it will be safe.

That's just my POV since I often use forkdelta than ED.

And I bet the steps will be the same in adding the contract address in ED, just use the ED url and edit.

Anyway, gave you a merit since I found this useful to everyone, keep it up.
Post updated, Etherdelta example added. Thanks

It's always happening that is why it's good to sell the bounty coin in too early before the coin listed in CMC because as soon as the coin listed on CMC expect for the token or coin becomes cheaper than the ICO sale price.

So, this method is really helpful for some bounty hunters out there they can use this to sell their coin in the early stage before the price dropped twice.

Edit: Ow, your post is now clearer after I gave you merit.
Etherdelta, ok I'll do it.

And thanks for the merit, the post really became clearer  Smiley

Not sure if I understood what you're trying to say here, but I'm sure you can't trade bitcoin and non-erc20 tokens on EtherDelta and ForkDelta.
You're right, I will fix it

As a bit of constructive criticism, coinmarketcap isn't really an exchange it's just a price tracker of altcoins. Think of it as a price comparison site rather than a marketplace...
OP was probably referring to exchanges listed on Coinmarketcap, instead of literally listed on Coinmarketcap for trading. Because you can lookup on CMC on what exchanges a certain coin/token is listed via the 'markets' tab.

You can also do exchanges for bitcoins and other currencies from your token on this site. Although a lot of the time if a token isn't yet listed it might not be a token that is widely accepted here to be valuable...

Once you done doing each steps are there any buyers of your tokens after doing so? I think it's hard to sell it when it's not in exchange yet. In most cases when you only have a small portion of token in your waller it is only a design in your wallet and there's nothing you can do. Actually there's a thread about what to do with the tokens in your wallet here in bitcointalk.

If to you came erc-20 tokens from airdrop or bounty and they are not traded on stock exchanges. There is an easy way to sell them without waiting for a listing. For this purpose there are exchanges for example https://forkdelta.app and https://etherdelta.com. I'll show you how to do this with the example of the first exchanger (forkdelta). UPD: Etherdelta added
So, let's begin.
You received erc-20 tokens on the myEtherwallet and they do not have a price. We pass to this token for more detailed information, for example:

We need Token Contract Address (0xf1f64f6b8e17dd68c1db10b0eed3d2541a6c09ab), as well as Decimals (.8.) and Token Symbol (BID) values taken from this example you will have others.
We add a token in the myetherwallet (add custom token), so that we can conduct operations with it further

After that we go to the forkdelta.app or etherdelta exchanger and in the browser line we can see:

For a forkdelta after "trade /" and before "-ETH" in this case "DAI" we need to replace with the required contract address and for etherdelta "PPT".  That is, DAI-ETH or PPT-ETH is the pair, and we replace DAI or PPT with our token contract address.

Then we press the input and reload the page.
  • Forkdelta

  • Etherdelta

It remains only to make a deposit by clicking on the appropriate button and put up for sale your token.
I hope the post will be useful for beginners in crypto. I personally successfully used this method and received the first money  Smiley
That's all, the criticism is accepted  Wink
