tell how much you have on firmware versions on the Dragon 1.5 I have 2014-11-28-02-A1-15T-add-dns2.img and boot.iso others have?

It's been a VERY long time since I made this image.  I do not remember IP.  I think it's 192.168.1.178 but that could be wrong.

This is the entire firmware backup.  You will use software such as Win32DiskImager to write this firmware to a SD card.  It is a image file so you use a program such as I mentioned to flash a SD card with the firmware.

I can say carrying this when moving some miners this is by far the heaviest.  I wish I would have weighed it.  With all the heat sinks it's ridiculously heavy.

need the first version of firmware on Dragon 1.5T where you can apply 720 W please share

First version does not have a change of power it's around 1100 W for 1.5T.  Is this the firmware you need?

It defintally has the reliability of old dragon's.  I can say it made it through a few storms one caused temporary power loss age at my house.  It started right back up as soon as power was up

Been switching between pools.  Still good 1.5 hashing.  One thing to note is you might need to fine tune it depending on your location and pool location.  A difficulty of 512 and 1024 seem to be best settings so far depending on pool i use.

About 20 hours in and 1.52 is average pool rate.  Looking good at maintaining considering how hot of a day it is and I'm not using a lot of cooling on it.

B)After the miner has booted up you will need to go to the IP written on the miner’s front side. Its 192.168.1.XXXX

there is no screen on this 1.5T right?

Correct the 1.5 T has 3 fan's in front, no LCD and 2 fan's like the model of 1T i have is.  It does have LED indicators on top of miner with different colors I have not had the time to try to decode all of them yet.

Again i feel false advertising at group buy again. As per my question what is initial psu? Answer was 1200w but now with the picture above, we can all see very clearly that it is only using a 1100w psu & the normal power consumption is already 1070w, not much margin.  Pcie cables are flexi ones but looks weak & have a high chance of melting.  Heatsinks do get hot or even very hot ! Cabling is a mess.

I feel like your looking for something wrong.  So far I have used stock PSU and have had no problems. I can only say from my experience. Hashing away at a little over 1.5 and yes I will get temps, but it is cooler air coming out of it then my 1T by a good amount it feels. (Again i realize i need to get temperatures to show that that a feeling is not strong evidence).

EDIT: My old 1T dragon is in a room with air-condition running very low it has blades of 100 mostly and up to 107 degrees F.    The second room is about about 10 degrees or so hotter with my 1.5 T dragon and I still am getting low 90 degree temperatures.  This is using a infrared thermometer and getting temps off the blades.  And less heat obviously with air around miner.

What about overclocking of this unit?

It add's a extra fan compared to some 1T's and what seems to be larger heat sinks.  It might have some overclocking to it, the heat feels like less out the back of it (i will try to get some temps sometime).  But i don't think it would be good to add much of a higher frequency to it.

I think you are better off with electricity savings and not overclock these, as the firmware does not make it a official option.   I personally won't be overclocking.

Anger is a gift.
Doubt it. Each blade is 250 GH/s and the chips are already over clocked as much as will allow.

Notlist3d's Dragon 1.5 Guide and Info

0) General information + Hardware Needed
1) Unpacking
2) The Miner
3) Install
4) How to order

0) General Information + Hardware Needed
This miner is a new version of the Dragon 1T (A1 1T) miner produced by lketc.  Their old miner has been tested over time, and you will feel familiar with interface if you have used a Dragon before.  With this new Dragon 1.5T it is made to be more energy efficient with power usage of around 1070 watts .

Hardware needed in addition to Dragon 1.5T miner:
•   Computer to set up the Dragon 1.5T configuration.
•   Network cable to connect to router/hub, and power cable(It comes with a EU plug, and a small network cable)

1) Unpacking
You will notice the weight once you pick up the box.  With having 6 blades with nice heat sinks it help’s with cooling down the miner but explains shipping cost. Taking the miner out of the box you will see a familiar Styrofoam.  With this packing it keeps the miner in the center of the box helping make transport safe, and where miner has a cushion of air to protect from puncture on sides. Below is pictures of the unpacking:

2) The Miner
Dragon 1.5T General Information:
Hash rate on pool side: ≥1500G
Power consumption: 1070 watt  *Actual watt's seems to be closer to 1150*
Size: 480*176*380 mm
Gross weight: 22 Kg
Noise: less than 52 DB
Chip quantity: 60 PCS 28nm ASIC
Package includes: 1500G Miner*1 PWM Cable *1 UTP Cable *

Below are images to showcase the miner.  Some show comparison to showcase it’s size beside a Dragon 1T.

3) Install
A)This miner is built on the Dragon 1T software.  It will feel very similar to setup.  No power supply tricks needed, just flip the switch after plugging in power cable and network cable!

B)After the miner has booted up you will need to go to the IP written on the miner’s front side. Its 192.168.1.XXXX

C)Below is shown a picture of my miner set up.  Yours can be different on numbers but first you need to have IP, Subnet Mask, Gateway IP, and DNS.  After putting your settings in it you are able to confirm it by pressing set network:

D)After setting the IP address and network settings you are ready to add your favorite pool.  With miner stopped you will be able to edit pool settings.  After you enter your miner pool settings click on the start button, then OK.:

E) After you set the network and pool settings, you should be hashing away! Below is mine hashing away a little above 1.5 after a few hours so far.  I will continue to test over next few days.
