I'm not sure about XMRig support for Turtle, but it might be driver issue.
You may try our version https://mega.nz/#F!M7xzFLpC!Nw6i2VLvtQ6XEecXiiWwOA with CUDA 9.0
Or install CUDA 9.1 drivers.

I have been mining for the last week with the doktor's miner SRBMiner and I can only say, that he has put some impressive work into it! The miner gives a really nice speed in comparison with the other miners out there.
Today after work I will try with zawawa's miner too, saw earlier his miner is now supporting CNH, so will try it out and will inform you bois.

I think Claymore is best for monero's hashrate

Against a tweaked XMR-stak config file, not really.
can u share the tweaked config file?
Or please share where to change?

You have to make 2 threads for each GPU, roughly half the intensity of only one.

That made wonders for Vega in cryptonight, but in Ellesmere and Baffin at least (cards I have) it leverages performance with Claymore's, even a bit faster in my experience.

Default settings with autodetection in amd.txt XMR-Stak file are very conservative, there is much more performance to be tweaked from there.

That's the advantage of Claymore's, you just run it, and it almost certainly runs at near peak performance.

However, as I compile XMR-Stak myself with 0% fee and I can get slightly more performance with a more responsive system (important for me) there is a no brainer.

I agree, but have you checked out the SRBMiner-CN?  Looks very promising.
Doktor made an awesome job.
I haven't tried latest SGminer, but I think it is still the king. XMRig has also better hashrate than XMR-STAK 2.x, the old AMD version was a way better. Claymore is probably the worst option out of these, but it has no fee now and it is very user friendly, only power consumption was high, not sure with these latest versions, haven't try it for like half a year.

I don`t understand why when mining on rx580 monero it hashes with 820h/s but when mining Sumo it hashes 920h/s . When mining with rx480 it hashes on monero 950 , but on sumo 750h , what the hell is going on? I tried it with different miners , what is the logic?

Monero is CryptoNight v7  and Sumo is Cryptonight-Heavy (need more Mem)

However the best Hashrate for Monero and RX580 it's Cast-XMR,  you can reach 900-1000 H/s ,   VS  880-950 H/s in Claymore 11.3

Mattthev I went to your site, but I was not able to find a Cryptonight/cryptonight-heavy bios mod for my cards.
Are your BIOS mods made for the Ethash algo or they are just giving generally a better performance? I am asking, because I am currently with a really strong BIOS mod for the ethash algo and I do not want flash my cards again for nothing.
Hi, those 5 USD are mostly for both, you can use my guide and get almost the same for free. Those 30 USD are sometimes for ETH and XMR when you can pick whichone you want to flash. The best possible from there you can have with PBE 2.2, there are ETH and XMR timings, if you still need something even better then you need custom job bios, contact Wolf0, Eliovp, etc.
I haven't explore CN-Heavy but I assume there aren't really big changes that would need to be done in timings so XMR timings should be still good option.

Claymore 11.3 not working with sumoKoin. anyone gotten it working? XMR and xmrig kills hashrate
No claymore said he doesn`t have the time to make it work with sumo.

AHA Thanks mate!  BTW do anyone remember the best hashcnt settings for AMD 6990 cards?

HD6990 do not work with current Claymore miner. And the author clearly stated that he have no spare time to get obsolete GPU running again. At the moment XMR-STAK has best support for HD6990 card but to reach good performance you need to use 14.4 driver. Other drivers suffer from memory detection issue and have poor performance. Expect to reach something around 750-800 H/s for cryptonight v7 algo per HD6990 (two Cayman GPU 375-400 H/s each). The key to optimal performance is to play with worksize, not only with intencity. 18 to 22 worksizes usually have best performance but sometimes I have to stuck with default worksize 8 because of stability issues. Please share CN-heavy results if available.

OH and what miner is the best after Claymore that works with Sumo and AMD? that doesnt cut the hashrate in half like on 290 cards
