does your command line look like this?
--scrypt --shaders 384 -o ltc.kattare.com:9332 -u lailoken.1 -p totallymypassword
edit: make sure your port is correct, that the pool you are connecting to accepts stratum or long polling whichever you are using. some pools only do stratum now.

using guiminer script alfa, Gigabyte 7950 card without OC.
Runs about 591kh/s but 0 shares accepted after some time. Trying to mine LTC in coinotron,notroll.in
