Whatever makes it work, will do. I'll guess you want to follow the guiminer-thread, then.
I am running 64 bit though so it should have worked.
I reverted back to the earlier version and its mining again. Ill just use a different pool than slushes.

I followed the directions on slushes page to update to this cludge and when I try to run it now I keep getting an Name Error OpenCL miner not defined.
I had the same problem yesterday, in win7x32. Switched to 64bit and everything worked fine.. Haven't switched back and checked, though. 
are you able to see your gpu in device list ?
