Make sure you have all the info filled in properly (pool, port, user:pass, the correct openCL device selected, flags (optional))
Make sure you have your firewall set for the proper port.
Do you run any monitoring SW? MSI afterburner?
Check to make sure GPU usage goes to 99%. If it doesn't, and all the miner settings are correct, then it may be your drivers.
