I think right now it's about .00003 bitcoins.

Not bad at all! How much can I expect to make from each share?

Pretty slow unfortunately, 1.2 mhashes/second. This laptop is four years old. I don't really expect anything super fast, but it'd be nice to know approximately how long it will take. And with slushes pool, how much will the payout for one share be?

Using something like bitcoinplus I can usually get a payout every 3-4 hours, for his incredibly stingy rates.

Hmm, after letting it sit on puddinpop's cpu miner for a while with slush, the "connection problems" error goes away and I am seeing an mhash speed finally. How long until I finish a share, approximately?
At what speed? It takes on average about 4 billion hashes to find a share.

I'm running cuda miner (I've an NVidia card) and have tried connecting to both mining.bitcoin.cz and api2.bitcoin.cz, but the client is always stuck on "connecting" for the speed.

Here's a console dump:

2011-07-14 14:53:43: Running command: C:\Documents and Settings\Cyclone\Desktop\bitminer\guiminer\miners\puddinpop\rpcminer-cuda.exe -user=***** -password=***** -url=http://api2.bitcoin.cz:8332
2011-07-14 14:53:43: Listener for "Slushy" started

I've left it like this for a couple hours and it's still stuck on connecting, I've already got a full set of blocks in Bitcoin itself...what can I do to fix it?

If I try to switch to RPCMiner's CPU client, it just says "Connection problems" regardless of which URL I try. I've checked my firewall settings multiple times, to no avail...
