Na true say Governor Wike no be straight forward person and we confirm am for this 2023 election but as for Tinubu, ein capacity to commission the project, e dey important make we sabi say we get different levels for government, and e fit be say dem invite am based on say e be leader for im party or former governor for Lagos State. If you de follow up well you go know say Wike don invite so many ppl make dem commission project for Rivers including Peter Obi. But for all we country top officials, no matter their political affiliations, e dey important make dem follow the law and the way we country take operate.

Where you dey get your own update from nah @ O.P? Because who told you say that Rumua flyover wey Tinubu go commission few days ago say na federal project? And who told you say eh dey wrong for a governor to invite a president elect to come commission project wey he build?  because omo, make you just forget that thing, as every governor get the right to invite anybody come commission him project oh, whether other states governors, party chairman, vice president or even a church bishop self, because no be today they start to dey run this paro, as eh don dey sub long time ago.

Nothing really sup here brother. No be today way Wike or Governors start to invite who dey there body to gone commission projects. It could be anyone and as e con be president elect, nothing spoil kwa.

Nothing serious way happen here. Tinibu na president elect, if he start to show working a month early and Buhari no complain, why e go come dey bother you. Governor Wike na “do as I like” governor, he no dey in good terms with the presidency so e no dey surprising say na Tinibu e invite to go come Rivers state for the commissioning of one of him project. Last year e invite Peter Obi too, na so we dey happy only for Wike to change leg during elections. I no really dey reason politicians, them be green snake for green grass, anywhere way go benefit them na them dey follow.

Well op I don't think wike has failed any law to have declared a public holiday in his state and you should  always remember that the governor  is the number one citizen of the state and just as he has the power to declare a state of emergency, he also has the sole power to declare whatever he wants to declare provided it doesn't doesn't  cause any direct damages to the people within his jurisdiction.
And about inviting  BAT to commission the new roads isn't politically wrong and he has invited several persons in the past to come commission  other projects and I don't see anything  wrong with this because he's a president elect.

If you know how Naija politics dey run you for no bother yourself about dis matter at all. Leave politicians the way you see dem oo because na dem know better how dem take dey run all dis tinz.

You know say anybody wey dey elected and awaiting swearing in are usually briefed on matters of the states or country in respect to the position the person is assuming. It is like they’re preparing dem to know better how dem take dey run tinz for government before dem come on seat.

And besides commissioning any work, you fit invite anybody wey you like come commission the work wey you do for your state, whether politician, businessman, monarch etc; anyone you feel like can be invited to commission the work.

In as much as I am not a big fan of President elect Bola Ahmed Tinubu but wetin Governor Nyesom Wike did not Dey wrong and there is no place in the constitution that can fault Wetin him do.

The thing wey he called the president elect to commission was actually a state project that the state carried out and finished successfully so it’s not under the jurisdiction of the federal government.

We all know that The Governor of Rivers state Wike at the closing stages before the last general elections threw his support to Tunbu and although the election was controversial his man won so he can invite him to commission the state project.

Omo these men Dem dey play politics to the core. Wike dey expand him political horizon with the new incoming government so that him compass go dey accurate Sha but one thing I for like make we know be say na wike pattern be that. I just dey notice say almost all the projects wey wike don commission for Rivers State na so e dey be. Him no dey say na one person dey commission am but different people. So I no dey surprised when I hear say na President elect dey come do the needful for our flyover.

How hilarious  the way its a surprise to you that's how its a surprise to me to, president elect going to commission a project is just a misplaced priority to me, the annoying  aspect about our present president is that he doesn't  not address or speak about anything  since the general election he just went totally silent, which is very wrong, and we are lacking procedures  already in this country, no when o saw this post all i could just do was to laugh but, Nothing shocks me anymore if it's this country. Exactly. And also the Federal government can also send anyone who is dim fit to commission project. And the project in queation was build by the state government so there should be no argument here. The project was not build by a minister but a governor so he has all the right to choose who would commmitission his projects. So there is nothing to talk about it.

If the project was build by Minister and Tinubu who is the President Elect was called to come and commission the bridge then the incumbent president would have angry but reverse is the cause here. The matter na just understanding.

Who constructed the bridge? The federal or the state government?

If it is the federal government, you can not see president elect there, you will see the incumbent president there. I do not see anything wrong in what Wike did. It is a state project and Wike the governor of the state has the right to invite anyone he likes.

Mate there is nothing wrong with the whole thing. I am not siding anybody but let the truth be told in accordance with the law, Tinubu has every Presidential power ever since he won and was issued a return certificate. He assumes the right to the Presidency pending his official handover he even has the right to attend FEC meetings and advise the President but does not have much right to signatory until it is handover. So therefore, it is not wrong as the governor himself is a lawyer and he fully knows the law that was why he went ahead to invite Tinubu to commission the projects.

In terms of these categories mate, it is not lawless and neither is it politics here. It is part of the obligatory duties as a President elect.

Boss there is nothing wrong with Wike inviting Tinubu to commission projects in the state and if you have been following up with Governor Wike's way of doing things, he has invited various individuals to commission the various projects by his administration, so this is not the first time and there is nothing wrong with this I'm politics and we should celebrate wike as the only true (unifier) since he doesn't consider party before making any development and connections that will bring better governance to his people.

Na wrong mentality to dey use emotions for politics because in politics there is no place for emotions or religion and the only language in politics is that, politics is a game of interest, so let it be and as the seating governor he has the right. Todelare work free day for the workers in the state.

Even Governor El Rufia did the same by declaring a public holiday for the state workers on a couple of times now and it is still cool, it's not only the seating president that has the constitutional right to commission projects, and even outside that Woke worked so much for Tinubu presidency and just like the president Elect said he holds port Harcourt to heart and you know what that means for the state I'm term of interest protection against the next administrativenon.

Wike is building and expanding his political tentacles and from his current political permutations, he may likely secure a place for himself in the elit cycle in the next administrations.

As for the holidays matter, Governor Wike is the governor of Rivers States and he'll qualified to give a public holiday in his state. If you noticed the holiday only affects affair of the state ran by rivers state and e no affect federal, government establishments like schools as dem been get normal lectures as I hear for radio. Wike been dun invite Buhari him own even when him no dey there party as well as invited opposition politicians to commission one or two things for the state as well. Wike dey fight for himself to dey at peace with everybody and at the same time the state go dey at peace with every political party so we fit benefits as na so Nigeria politics dey.

From my own point of reasoning I don't think that is a big case or something to worry about why? Not
because his a president elect and awaiting to swear in to seat, but as a government officials not just that but a Governor in that case. Okay just take a look at PO, he can be invited to commission bridge and flyover yet he would pull more crowd than BAT so I don't see anything bad to what he did.
Please note that I am not a fan of PDP or APC neither LP. I just answered this questions without a bias mind. But what also made me angry was indefinite (unannounced) public holiday he took just because they wanna commission bridge and flyover.

I hope say all of us don hear how Tinubu wey dem say na president elect go ph go commission bridge on the invite of governor Nyesom wike of Rivers State. Because of this,Wike declare holiday for Rivers because of person wey dem never sworn in as president, miracle no dey tire us for this country. The thing tire me because shenanigans just dey look for favour up and down to be relevant.


Menh....IMO and legally, I think say e dey wrong and abuse on the seat of presidency to see Tinubu dey commission federal project wey President Buhari never hand over. Unto which capacity wey go make Tinubu dey go commission project, this na real lawless country full of nepotism, confraternity, affiliation politics wey everything can go because you belong together.

I just dey think say if to say no be the same APC political party wey President Buhari and Tinubu dey, shey him for go do that commissioning of bridge?
